Most of the whining I hear about this issue is coming from the right. Where did all of those "stay out of my business and I'll stay out of yours" conservatives go? I liked them. Social conservatives are at least an order magnitude whinier than the PC crowd.

this falls along something I have been assisting others with, its essentially being "suspicious" is not a crime... so you don't have to ID yourself if you have not actually committed a crime, or they have reasonable suspicion you are in the process of committing one... and merely looking like a man or woman, and using a restroom is not a crime, they have to have knowledge you are a man or woman and using the incorrect bathroom... but they can't determine that based on looks...

now some people will say "you can tell" and thats enough, your own personal opinion, but that doesn't hold up in court for police on other crimes... like simply looking like you're a robber, isn't enough to arrest someone for robbery... simply looking like a druggie isn't enough to arrest someone for drugs... you need more evidence than that, which is why cops will routinely ask for ID to go fishing, ask to pat you down to go fishing, as well as all the other tactics they are trained to go through and follow, to go fishing...

this is why the best thing people can do is shut up and not engaged them in a conversation... I know its easier said than done, because they are very well trained and after years of practice, become very good manipulators and can illicit a response that will then give them enough justification to force action and compel you to do things you do not want to, and you think by answering questions it will help make them go away, but it won't, it only feeds them more information to reach the point they can compel you...

now my question for this incident... was it a public or private establishment? it looks like she had a drink of some sort, so I'm guessing its a food place of some sorts, and generally has the right to ask you to leave, which is basically what these cops were doing, telling her to leave when she wouldn't ID herself... now I myself might have pressed the issue as a civil rights violation and that they compelled me to leave despite me having no obligation to show ID to them, which means they disrupted and prevented my right to enjoy that establishment... I didn't hear the cops saying the owner wanted her to leave, just they made her leave because she refused to ID...

this is one of those slippery slopes where the process and method cops use against you must be very well worded, or it can cause them some trouble... just like in this short video... now I didn't get to see the whole thing so maybe other things were said or done by the other cop, but all I have to go on is this other cop who looks like he showed up and was told things by the other officer and he just stepped in and pressed the issue quickly... so it would be nice to see the whole thing, but this would be enough for me to file a complaint against the officer for violating my rights to not ID and continue using the establishment, but the officer took away that right...

P.S. (I think we're going to have a lot more issues like this, which is why I say, the only smart solution for a business owner, is to remodel their bathrooms, so its all single toilet rooms with a locking door and walls on all side, basically like a gas station bathroom, a single room for each person using it, its the only way to avoid this in the future)

The police officer should have acted neutral
Many of the witness is there try to inform him that person was a female
And also the male police officer should have allowed the female police officer
Help determine if the person was in fact a female
