Reports are... the ladies created quite a stir and were tossed off the plane before it ever left the gate. If they were smart, they would've waited to start their act until after they were in the air. Chance are, SW wouldn't have tossed 'em out the emergency exit.

SW is prob one of the most informal airlines around. Might have gotten more publicity if they'd have chosen American or somebody. LOL, must've been attracted to those low, low fares!

The topic is about 2 lesbians, not families w/children, which actually is a pretty normal scene for most of us. I've flown quite a few times and never once saw a child(ren) running up and down the isle, screaming and bellering...

I have all kinds of understanding and tolerance for different situations, but not for those who put on shows of inappropriate excessive 'affection' in public places.... and I will say it one more time, so please read this slowly and m/b this time it'll sink in.... I don't CARE whether the couple are HOMO OR HETERO!! Get it yet?

Last time I flew SW (2 weeks ago), we had a chubby little flight attendant who was great. I love that airline... fly them every chance I get.

I'm no complainer -- loud, messy and nasty children, sloppy people, stinky people, etc. bother me. I don't get all pathetic and start complaining for something that bothers me, unlike the passengers of that SW-flight who couldn't handle a kiss on the mouth.

On a sidenote, it is my understanding that SW is an American version of "low-cost" à la Ryanair, EasyJet, etc. Why didn't the L-Word lady and her g/f flew a proper airline à la AA, Delta, etc.? It's not like she can't afford it.

Never flew SW - it was Delta & NW Orient (b/f they merged w/Delta) and the passengers were well-mannered and had some class - and I'm sure there were gays/lesbians among us, but we never knew it b/c they never made a big production out of how they felt about each other and didn't have the arrogance to think that we'd want to watch & hear them.......

This so-called 'star' is just another attention whore - that's all she is....
