Let me ask you why you prefer IFR's vs. the LFTR. It looks like they have a lot of the same advantages. From what I've read, it seems like the LFTR has more potential, but IFR's can make useful energy sooner. Is this correct? And do you favor IFR's because they can make useful energy sooner?

You think anything nuclear is gonna fly in light of Fukushima hysteria?

The government and Big Business have zero incentive to benefit anyone except themselves. Big Business purposely makes products that will fail so that we have to buy them more often, and purposely makes things less energy efficient than they could be because they get kickbacks from Big Energy for it.

The truth is though, I don't care because humans suck. But, it'd be great if Big Business didn't call upon the government to help them out.

Do you think Big Fossil Fuel is gonna continue to fly in light of INSANELY SKYROCKETING prices for fossil fuels which are RUNNING OUT???!?!?!

    :omg:

I think what he meant was that it's the *best* energy prospect for now.

Sure. And for all I know, he's right. I have no way of knowing, not being a nuclear physicist (so far). I can look these things up but I'm not going to pretend that I even understand all the words. Most of these things sound like toothpaste ingredients to me.

So, for now, I won't say it's impossible, I won't say it is possible ... I will simply remain skeptical.

Riiiiiight. HF is one of the most corrosive acids. Now all we need is for it to be formed from radioactive tritium!

I'll start to consider it when a private insurance company can be found that will insure it with no government backup or subsidies.

That's exactly the problem with people. How many people died from radiation at Fukishima? 1 had lieukemia, but it usually takes a lot longer than a week to die from it, so there is no proof that it was from Fukushima. I know of 1 other person who died because of a crane accident, and maybe 1 other. That is at most 3 that have died from the Fukushima power plants. There was over 10,000 people in total that died. I think there was a couple hundred who died as a result of fossil fuel explosions. Those nuclear reactors were built in the 60's or 70's. The current nuclear reactors are a lot safer. Nuclear is the safest energy source. Fewer people have died per kWh with nuclear energy than any other power source. LFTR's are ever safer than current light water reactors. That is why I do not like democracies, because people are not smart enough to make good decisions when it comes to our energy needs among other things. How many die because they don't have cheap food or clean water? How many die because of the civil wars caused by poverty. Cheap, clean energy can fix all of these things. The best energy source to provide cheap, clean energy is the LFTR.

Any proof that government can run nothing better than the private sector?

Why only those nations? Energy prices are going up in a lot of places, or energy demand is going way up in places like China. Don't you think it would be a good energy source for almost any country?

if you all want limitless free as in constantly renewable energy forever?

then build the tesla magnifying transmitter

put an antenna on your car and power it remotely

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LD8OkbumcY0"]Transmission of Power Without Wires (Scalar Waves) - YouTube[/ame]

logged 1000% more power at the receiver and his ironically not built anywhere near as efficient as teslas design.

[ame="http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4615804709108706714"]meyl shows tesla longitudinal electricity transmission in 2003[/ame]

the really kool thing about tesla power that few people understand it that it is totally renewable.

    oh just got this in!

here is a tesla crystal am receiver compared to a normal crystal receiver all things being equal. Unreal how powerful it sounds compared to how weak our normal radio receivers are!
