The Democratic Party has gone too far to the left. They are trying to change our government, our lives. They haven't gotten over the lose in 2016. They are a cancer! The only way we can keep our country is if President Trump is re-elected, and the Republicans have the majority in the Senate and the House.

Both parties have gone off the rails. We saw in 2016 when they nominated the Toxic Twins, Hillary and Trump.

The only difference would be impeachment hearings from the Republicans instead of the Democrats.

I disagree, I don't think Trump is reflective of the republican party as much as Clinton is a valid rep of the dem party. I think most republicans are aghast at Trump, while a good % of dems still are in Hillary's corner. The dems have to get rid of all these corporatist holdovers of Clinton Obama and get back to being Kennedy/Johnson/FDR dems. The dems have to get back to being the party of the working man and not the party of a rainbow coalition of intellectuals, "yuppies", and minorities( with the disclaimer that most minorities are of the working class).

The bailing out of college students by canceling debt is one example of a bad idea. The kids are screwed but the government should not profit by charging them 6% interest when bonds are going for 1/2 that. like to see something like 1% tax on lifetime earnings for everyone per 25,000 of loans. You make 50,000 you pay 500 per year for the 45 years that you work. As your salary goes up you pay more. But at least you can get a apartment and move out of your parents house.

Ya same stuff the left clung to in 2016 :) You hug it real tight Natty to soften that same horrible recurring nightmare of 2016, only real soon it will be a reality again ¯\_(º¸º)_/¯

You whine about socialism while begging for dictatorship.
You will not rest until Trump has absolute power.

I don't think so. Hillary's "corruption" was mostly just Republican fabricated fantasizes. Trump colluded with the Russians and has tried to extort the president of the Ukraine. He is clearly a bad actor.

THREAD LOCKED - Rule 11- Failure to establish a respectful basis for discussion

The OP makes a couple of group insults in the title (liabilities) and in the text (cancers) and therefore fails to establish a respectful basis for discussion. OPs must be pristine and have a positive duty to set the basis for respectful debate.

Although the OP made no attempt at establishing a respectful basis of discussion, the opposition rebuttals were remarkably restrained and made no effort to retaliate. On behalf of the moderation staff, I would like to thank you for your restraint and for carrying on a mostly respectful conversation in the face of an attack.
