You must of had me in mind when you devised that fill in sentence. I hardly know where to begin for my list and content would fill a book--all to the negative. Perhaps to get an idea of what liberals have contributed to our society as a whole, I will give you their rendition with this fill in.....

Though often they just figure the liberal/democrat platform will result in them getting more of other people's money and so they go with that.

Of course I think plenty of republicans and Libertarians take their positions because they want to give less of their money to liberals, but at least they're honest about it. As opposed to many liberals who act like they're being noble to raise taxes on other people to give more money to those who need it more (such as themselves).

Um. That was the Republicans. No, really, I'm serious, go ahead and look up the history of the creation of the Republican party to oppose slavery and that leading to the civil war. Democrats were the slavers in that time.

No. They certainly have. People throw around the term "liberal" but never understand the basic aspects of the ideology.

A liberal is one that believes in government involvement in economic issues, and no government involvement in social issues.

Most people who consider themselves liberal are actually progressives. They believe in government involvement in economic and social issues.

What am I? I'm a centrist, but I lean towards libertarianism. I was originally a liberal, but I refined my beliefs as I started to become more well-versed in diplomacy, economics, history, politics, and government.

Yep, Republicans were certainly progressive in that era.

 

Eating lead paint chips and being raised around high-power-lines is no excuse for making preposterous statements. Liberals are the epicenter of thought police. I hardly consider that an economic issue, and absolutely a social issue.
