I know honor killings and other atrocities commited against young girls & women aren't going to go away any time soon, sine this sadistic, barbaric practice has been going on since around the 3rd century - but hopefully the day will come when those primitive, barbaric countries will become civilized and realize the female gender are human beings and treat them as such.... one can hope anyway.......

I have already stated that the practice is repugnant and vile...I guess some folks only want to read what they want to read because it suits their agenda's..I agree with the substantive point you made.....But like I say, honour killings happen throughout the world in a variety of cultures. It's a mistake to believe that this is not the case. The methods and the names given to these killings might be different but in principle they are similar.
