    Fascinating response.

What is the point youre trying to make?

Does this violence compare better or worse with all the other things that go on against women or children across the world?

False dichotomy. Is there anything else you want to falsely attribute to me?

London. I'll send you a postcard of the Queen with a spear in her head.

Look at the sentence you posted above. It contains an internal inconsistency that characterizes the whole post.

The practice of fathers murdering daughters who have been violently raped appears only in cultures that exist between Casablanca and the Punjab. Who occupies that region?

Last time I checked honor killings are unacceptable in normal states, unlike in Islamic states where the punishments is considerably less if the motivation is to preserve family honor.

Also I find your idea of islamophobia cute, whats next? disliking genocide will also be bad?

Nonsense. It exists on the indian subcontinent also. Who occupies those places?

Look at what youve been posting, please try to clarify your position.

Strawman.....What has the notion of acceptability got to do with the issue? Is there any other irrelevant topic you want to bring into the debate.

The practice of fathers killing daughters who have been violently raped extends from Casablanca to the Punjab. The Punjab is part of the Indian Subcontinent.

The only thing I'm attributing to you is your cold indifference about honor killings.... like "hey! honor killings not only take place in Libya, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, etc, but alllllll over many other countries as well - so deal w/it"........

IOW's - tell it to someone who cares. It ain't my ox being gored.....

I know honor killings and other atrocities commited against young girls & women aren't going to go away any time soon, sine this sadistic, barbaric practice has been going on since around the 3rd century - but hopefully the day will come when those primitive, barbaric countries will become civilized and realize the female gender are human beings and treat them as such.... one can hope anyway.......

I'm not indifferent. I have already stated that the practice is repugnant and vile...I guess some folks only want to read what they want to read because it suits their agenda's..I agree with the substantive point you made.....But like I say, honour killings happen throughout the world in a variety of cultures. It's a mistake to believe that this is not the case. The methods and the names given to these killings might be different but in principle they are similar.

I think you misread my post. You already acknowledged you are in England. I was commenting on where (I was guessing) Di Salvo lived. Obviously, you don't know the history of his name and if you can't follow my 2 sentence comment, then I'm not surprised if you can't follow something this long.

The punjab is but one part of that continent. The practice has existed throughout.

    Stop dodging me Albert, you like to come across as someone who refuses to shy away from harsh truths. So dont shy away from this one;

Its not just muslims who do these evil deeds. Its Hindus to.

Shall we get into all the other kinds of violence done to women across the world or is this the only one that counts?

Your pretense at concern is transparent.
