    What is it, physiologically, that happens in that drawing of that "first breath" that transforms that 'lifeless glob of cells' (your theory) into a live human being? Anything observable? Can it be tested? Can it be seen, weighed, smelled heard or felt? Is it magic? Some paranormal or metaphysical miracle? Besides your 'belief' what enforcement do you present? A link even?

    Life cannot be sustained with out oxygen....

    BTW the baby breaths(gets oxygen ) from the imbilical cord

    This relates to something I've been wondering lately. Why, if life begins at conception, would the Catholic church be so upset about contraception, when life hasn't actually begun yet? They aren't taking the same position on those little blue pills old guys take, and they're covered by the insurance companies. Life (at both stages...via the chemically enhanced erection, getting ready to deliver the life forming gift, and the chemically enhanced female reproductive system, that is not allowing the chemical penis to infect it with life) is altered from its natural state. One raises ire...one doesn't. Why is that? (republicans)

    No one negates that are life. Just that are not human.

    And if you're pro-life according to your argument you should be against all killing, it includes kill animals, they are a life. Kill other people for war or death penalty...

    Life begins when you first move out of your parents' house and don't have to put up with their crap any more. It ends when you have kids of your own, then resumes when they move out.

    And as soon as it takes that first breath, it's ready to run into the woods and strangle a deer? Or what?
