I have NO idea what this buffoon is trying to say. If you are a feminist you don't can't '(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)' when someone beats you up? If you are equal, there is no such thing as domestic abuse? A feminist can't be beaten up? A FEMINIST would hit back? Or FEMINISM is antithetical to the natural order of things (yeah that seems to be implied)...

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh and one of his callers tried to minimize the response to the domestic violence case involving former Baltimore Raven Ray Rice on Tuesday, Media Matters reported.

“What this illustrates is what I’ve always said about feminism: it’s artificial, it isn’t real, because men and women aren’t equal,” Limbaugh said. “If feminism was actually what they are portraying it to be, there wouldn’t be this kind of outrage and shock.”

The “outrage” following the release of the footage of Rice knocking out his then-fiancee Janay Palmer this past February, Limbaugh said, was natural because it highlights differences between men and women that cannot be changed.

For his part, the caller, who identified himself as “James,” said he “didn’t see the big deal” with the footage showing Rice “cold-cocking” Palmer.

“If she had cold-cocked him, we wouldn’t have even heard about it,” James said. “I just don’t get it, I’m confused.”

Limbaugh quickly covered for the caller, saying, “Clearly you are being facetious here to illustrate a point,” and saying he clearly did not support Rice’s actions.

“I’m just confused,” James responded. “Maybe I’m a low-information voter. I’m being told that men and women are equal. Women should be on the firing line.”

“Hillary Clinton dodging sniper fire,” Limbaugh said.

Had it been a man instead of a woman that spit in Rices face would he have been suspended indefinitely?

 

Its simple logic really. If everyone was equal there wouldnt the outraged there is when a man hits a woman over another man.

If Feminists wanted equality they would see this.

 

I listened to this actual portion of his show. I listened to it...and didn't depend on the interpetation of Media Matters. I can tell you that a person who takes the interpetation of Media Matters as truth is lazy and gullible.

Just listen to the man for a week. You may hate his ideology, but he's a teddy bear.

It's a wonder that you were able to find the time to get away from all those other important pressing matters to come in here and type a paragraph about how it wasn't worth coming in here when there are more important pressing matters to attend to. Feminists want to be men when it is convenient and women when it is not. Sorry, masculinity and femininity come with stipulations. If you want to be masculine you better not play the victim card when a man beats your butt. Harsh, but true. If there is a double standard committing violence between the sexes (which I support because of the obvious physical differences) then maybe men should play most of the other masculine roles in society. Convenient feminism doesn't fly with me.

 

If feminists claim men and women are equal then why are they upset especially considering the woman married the dumba$$ after getting her clock cleaned. Why didn't she flip him over using his pinky finger like a strong woman is able to using all that self defense training?

She didn't deserve it but obviously she knew it was only a matter of time. It probably wasn't the first time. It just happened to get aught on camera.

Men are going to be physically stronger than women in 99.99% of cases. Basic biology. The modern feminist movement tries to argue that men and women are "equal" yet there are very real differences between the two.

Rush is saying that feminism wants equality, then why doesn't the same feminism ask for this to be treated such as if it were a man.

Women are different from men, while I think they should have equal protections under the law I think there are differences as well.

MOST LIKELY! If it had a been just some guy, the guy could have pressed charges for ASSAULT and knocking the guy out would have made it aggravated assault.
I have no idea what the rules are for the NFL if someone other than one's 'loved one' gets beaten up! They probably take it more seriously.

I watched Rush for a couple of years. He had a TV program in several markets around Florida. He was a pompous BLOWHARD and BULLY and dealt in misinformation, opinion, and out and out LIES. His opinions were laughable. Even our conservative audience drove him out of our market. ADVERTISERS dropped him like a rock when his viewership dropped like a rock. By his end he was getting SNUFF advertisers and self promo for the network that carried his show. That was all that was left.

He has not changed his stripes. Frankly, I don't even want him as a fellow FLORIDIAN. We will be happy for him to settle in Texas or AL or
MS or anyone of his top listening states. Rush Limbaugh is the poster boy for to what is wrong in this country. I have no desire to listen to him.

Every time I listen to Rush, I can identify a lie within the first few minutes. Just like Hannity, he is a low life, lying POS. They both make their living, and good ones too, by stirring up brainless, right wing lemmings. Those of us who are able to think independently, certainly "get" guys like Limbaugh.
