People can believe whatever they want. It usually goes church-pastor-people. This is chicken-Lindsey Graham-people. Very odd.

Hatred for gays by Christians is well documented. I don't care about leftists. You shouldn't either.

 

No more so than when a church group protest a strip joint opening or a porn shop.

 

The Republicans hate the gays even though they have Log Cabin constituency group of conservative gays in the party and the GOP has officially said gays are ok. Yet, not all Christians are Republicans.

True, and not all Christians hate gays. And Christians aren't the only religious people that preach this.

I'm all for free speech and freedom of religion. People can say and believe whatever they want. Even a company. I'm all for progress as well, but even if I weren't, I'd recognize that rights always expand. People are free to believe in restricting rights, but history disproves such beliefs.

 

Few Republicans are in fact Christians. Oh sure, A whole bunch claim they are but in reality they're at best very old school Jews and very selective about which parts to accept.

 

For me, I pass right by the Chick-Fil-A store because they are not that great, in fact they suck at everything but the chicken itself.

 

Nobody tried to cancel them. They just chose not to shop there. There's a huge difference.

 

Indeed. It's authoritarians all the way down. One happens to be a turtle. Ironically, American Jews are generally socially liberal.

Two vaccine skeptics have been appointed to a new Minnesota state council on autism, alarming public health advocates who worry they will promote the hoax linking vaccines to autism.

The MN Autism Council, formed last year by Republican state Sen. Jim Abeler, was aimed at advising the Minnesota Legislature on autism and public policy. But the makeup of the council is raising concerns, The Minneapolis Star Tribune reported Thursday.

 

There's a difference, but it's not huge... There are a finite number of dining opportunities on most college campuses... If you can get one removed that is not fully supported for one that might be, that's a net plus for the campus...

This is being proactive, not reactive.... which is what we should be teaching our youth.....

 

I wasn't referring to this situation, only the post I was responding to. If students prefer something else, then put something else in, that's just giving students a voice which is what they should be doing (as long as they're not caving to a vocal minority).

However, there is a huge difference in choosing not to shop somewhere and thinking a place should be put out of business which is what I was referring to.
