Why did he call what happened a horrible thing to do and that he would not stand for it?

Yes he should have fired those in charge, what are you missing here?

 

The only reason I don't find this egregious is that Fox News knows it is biased and so does everyone who watches it.

And you are trying to say Christy is responsible for what his employees do but Obama is not?

How about they are responsible for taking action to find out who was responsible and hold them accountable? Christie did, when will Obama?

 

Hmmmm....I'm so disapointed; I've always been told that republicans are squeaky clean and things like this never occur because they are so honest. Now my evening is totally absquatulated.

 

I'll tell you what I'm not missing: due process. No wrongdoing was found and Obama shouldn't be firing people just because of an angry, loud mob calling for Democrat blood.

 

Due process has to do with legal sanctions not whether Obama should have fired Lerner and Miller and others. Again who has Obama held accountable and how? When did Obama apologize to the people who were harmed? When did he ask his staff and give them an hour to respond who was involved? When did he demand everyone turn over all relevent information? Why has he tried to hide the investigation and whom he appointed to be in charge?

BTW how can you claim no wrongdoing was found when we know the House investigation was stonewalled and the WH investigation is ongoing? What investigation has declared no wrong doing? There lawsuits are just entering court, you have some inside knowledge the judge has been bribed and the outcome predetermined?

Christie doen't need defending...he did nothing wrong and handled the situation swiftly and properly.

 

A comparison?
Two paragraphs about Christie, which don't mention the scandal, only that he has fired his aides who were responsible.
Then 27 paragraphs attacking Obama, and this is a story about Christie on the day when Christie is the biggest story of the news cycle.
They didn't even mention what the issue was, whereas they went into quite a bit of detail over what Obama supposedly did or did not do.

The thing is, this story probably got floated by Republicans who are campaigning against Christie.

Obama literally left people to die in Benghazi (though bringing in help was well within his options). No one impeached him over that, nor are they likely to, You are being absurd.

 

Hahahaha! The mainstream media has religiously spun and covered for Obama from day one to such an extent that it almost amounts to worship. He could admit to and brag about having committed treason or, hell, he could sacrifice infants on the front lawn of the White House and still the MSM would at least try to spin and cover for him.

 

The hilarious thing about Christie will be when 2016 comes around, he'll try to do a Romney and try to appear far right to try and appeal to the extremists that currently infest the modern day Republican Party. That will be some comedy gold.

 

Kelly didn't have the political power to order the Port Authority to close those lanes on the George Washington bridge. It's clear to me that Kelly was carrying out her boss' orders. Why would Wildstein act based on the directive of a lowly office aide? Christie threw Kelly under the bus, that much is very clear to me.

 

I think it's so funny how the Right will suddenly totally believe anything that comes out of the mouth of their political figureheads. . .but NEVER believe anything that Left wing politicians say!

This story is not over. . .I believe you are being a little premature in singing the "innocence" of this guy, who has taken pride in being controlling, a bully, intelligent and in charge. . .but NEVER KNEW A THING about this plot until two days ago. . .when his CLOSE collaborators take the fall?

I think it smells bad. . .and I'd like to see what comes next!

 

I may not like or trust Christie but there is a major difference between him and the current POTUS.

 

All it is gonna take is for Christie to rick off someone and his involvement will be exposed. The rightwing will blame hilary or obama for this we have seen this play book before.

 

Watching all the Lefties be the true hypocrites they are in the Christie threads is like watching toddlers play with weeble wobbles.

 

Only the Port Authority can close the lanes, not sure of the chain of command there. But, if such an order was issued, there must be a paper trail by law of those orders.

 

The blame game? Like Obama and Co. do ALL the time? Obama hasn't taken responsibility for anything that he has done or not done. It's ALWAYS some elses fault and you lap it up like a good dog.

As an Obama supporter, how could you possibly say "He had to have known" or "He is the one in charge therefor it falls on him."

Even better, the same people calling on congressional hearings and such. F&F? NSA? Bengazi? IRS? Those same lefties were bowing to Obama saying he could do no wrong. So again, how are you all over Christy for this stupid bridge closure ... compared to things like the damn IRS scandal!?
