Landmark case of a guy with MPD suing himself. Weirdest cross examination ever!

That would also explain why a liberal professor once told me to go **** myself.

If straight men could change into a female they'd never leave the house.

Yep, it hardly seems fair to the genetic women who compete in the sport. & that's true overall. If we're going to have genetic men transition to women, then they either compete athletically in their original gender, or they compete in a transgender category, against other transgenders.

Offhand, I think it's very expensive to sculpt a male into a female, take a lifetime of hormones, & keep the reconstituted plumbing working. & then there are periodic checkups - the medical care & support will never stop. As long as we're here, before the economy &/or technology crashes, & we can spare the resources, sure. But everyone should be very clear - if the World goes kablooey & the choice comes down to keeping a transgender weightlifter alive, or Stephen Hawking, my vote goes to Hawking, automatically, every time.

    Here's what I don't understand:

In reality, you are either male or female (except, of course, for physical genetic abnormalities).

In any other mental health field, when your perception does not equal reality, it is classified as a mental illness. Why is this the exception?

What helps a person more: helping their mind accept reality, or feeding their delusions and helping them to try and ignore reality?

This is one of those cases where reality isn't going to be so easily dismissed.
