Found this interesting. Going way out on a limb here but I wonder if Paddock had Chronic Lyme disease.
CLD can cause severe light sensitivity and is often treated with psyche meds due to Docter’s not knowing that CLD is real.

Police said Campos was shot in the leg at the end of Paddock's assault on concertgoers—potentially distracting the gunman and causing him to panic and kill himself.
But now, questions have been raised after Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo revised the timeline and said Campos had actually been shot about 9:59 p.m.—a full six minutes before the mass shooting began at 10:05 p.m.—which means the guard could have instead led Paddock to start opening fire on the crowd for fear of being caught.

Police have said it was difficult to identify the source of the bullets during the attack, and the confusion added more minutes to their lengthy response. But the revised timeline shows officers would have known where Paddock was before the mass shooting even started.

Did Campos call 911? What happened during those six minutes?

Much of Campos's story and background remains a mystery.

Campos's co-worker Liliana Rodriguez started a GoFundMe account for him on October 3, explaining that he'd been shot while on "random patrol" and it could have been "anyone of us."

"Funds will be used to provide relief and financial support for him while he gets back on his feet," Rodriguez's online petition says. "This is a young man that I work with day in and day out. Any financial support would be appreciated for the time he would need to recover."

A picture of Campos wasn't displayed as part of the fund because Rodriguez indicated that "due to privacy from the media we do not feel comfortable publishing a photo."

During a brief phone conversation with ABC News, Campos said, "I'm fine...I was just doing my job."

Calls and text messages to Campos, Rodriguez and others who might know him were not immediately returned.

On Tuesday, Las Vegas Metro Police Undersheriff Kevin McMahill explained more about Campos's actions the night of the shooting, helping fill in some of what happened ahead of the attack.

He told KNPR, a local NPR affiliate, that Campos went up to the 32nd floor to investigate a door alarm. While on the 32nd floor, he found that a stairwell door was jammed and radioed down to maintenance.

Campos heard a drilling sound and thought it was odd. A maintenance worker came up to the 32nd floor. As the pair started talking, Paddock began firing through the door of his room, first with a single-fire gun and then with a rapid-fire rifle.

Police have said that when Campos radioed what happened, it helped them track where Paddock was holed up. McMahill didn’t elaborate on the six minutes or why police found it difficult to locate Paddock when, according to the new timeline, they had his location minutes before the assault started.

“I understand why people are frustrated with this because we are as well,” McMahill told KNPR.

I questioned whether or not whether Campos made immediate call to the police and was shouted down as being "dumb." Something is wrong here most definitely. How could Campos knew where the shooter was, yet the police did not, if he had called them.

Maybe he was the second shooter or the killer's assistant in bringing the guns and ammo to the rooms and he was shot to give him an alibi?

At one point, Jesus Campos seemed to be the biggest heroic figure in the Las Vegas mass shooting tragedy. According to the original timeline, Campos disrupted Stephen Paddock’s plan for the massacre, forcing him into committing suicide when a wounded Campos alerted police to Paddock’s location. However, a series of timeline shifts has put that narrative into question, and raised other questions about what Campos did and when.

Unfortunately, Campos is no longer around to answer those questions — and no one seems to know where he went, the LA Times reports:

Now, the man that many want to honor and who can help bring clarity about the timeline of the shooting has vanished from the public eye, less than two weeks since the Oct. 1 massacre, which left 58 people dead and more than 500 others injured.

David Hickey, president of the Security, Police, and Fire Professionals of America union, said it had been four days since he last saw Jesus Campos.

“We have had no contact with him…. Clearly, somebody knows where he is,” he said.
Fox News reported yesterday that Campos disappeared after being seen at a walk-in health clinic, although the clinic says it has no record of it:

David Hickey of the Security, Police, and Fire Professionals of America (SPFPA) told reporters Friday that he got a text the night before saying Jesus Campos was taken to a UMC Quick Care facility, though he did not specify where or whom the text came from.

A spokesperson at the UMC Quick Care, which has eight locations throughout the Las Vegas area, told Fox News on Monday that they had “heard nothing” about Campos visiting them. …

“Right now I’m just concerned where my member is, and what his condition is. It’s highly unusual,” Hickey said Friday. “I’m hoping everything is OK with him and I’m sure MGM or the union will let (media) know when we hear something,” he said.
It’s curious indeed. Campos had a raft of interviews scheduled with national media outlets last week, but abruptly canceled them when the hotel and local police began to make changes to the timeline. None of that implicates Campos in any wrongdoing, but it did raise questions as to why it took so long for the hotel and police to respond.

The LAT report also called into question why Campos was at Paddock’s door in the first place. A former guard at Mandalay Bay tells the Times that they didn’t have open-door alarms at the hotel, the alleged catalyst for Campos’ response:

According to a former armed security guard at Mandalay Bay, there are supposed to be armed guards patrolling the hallways of the hotel and that Campos was using a device to log in his whereabouts in the casino.

The former security guard, who worked there in the early 2000s, questioned Lombardo’s statement that Campos was investigating the open door alarm.

“There was no alarm system for opened doors when I was there,” he said, speaking on the condition of anonymity because he was not allowed to discuss security issues. “You know how often people would have to call hotel guests if that was the case?”
In door-access systems sold by companies for which I worked, you could set an alarm for a door held open status that exceeded a set amount of time. However, at least for hotel rooms, even that would be problematic, as housekeeping almost always keeps the door blocked open during their work in guest rooms. I had assumed the reference to an opened door was for a fire exit, and that still might be the case. Campos had told police that he radioed back to his dispatcher, and that Paddock opened fire, so the open door in question would not necessarily have been Paddock’s.

There is no reason to think that Campos had any responsibility for Paddock’s massacre. In fact, the signs still mainly point to Campos being a key reason why Paddock didn’t continue to fire longer than he did. But his disappearance certainly seems curious, if not suspicious, and Vegas investigators have to be wondering whether Campos has told them the entire story.

Much of the motivation and thinking of the Las Vegas gunman remains entirely mysterious. But more and more is emerging about how Stephen Paddock prepared for his attack, the most deadly shooting in modern history.

Investigators have revealed what the killer was searching for in the days before the attack. And it offers an insight into the mind of the man who would go on to kill 58 people in his attack.

Paddock's search history shows him looking for precise details about how Las Vegas police and SWAT would break into a shooter's room, an anonymous investigator told the Wall Street Journal.

The discovery came just as it was reported that investigators had also found chilling details about Paddock's computer.

Investigators suspect gunman removed the hard drive from the laptop after opened fire from his high-rise suite at the Mandalay Bay hotel-casino into a crowd at a country music concert, killing 58 people and wounded hundreds of others, an official told the Associated Press.

The hard drive hasn't been found, according to the official, and the absence of digital clues adds yet another puzzling aspect to the investigation as authorities try to figure out what might've led the 64-year-old high-stakes gambler to commit the mass killing. Investigators have examined his politics, finances, any possible radicalization and his social behavior — typical investigative avenues that have helped uncover the motive in past shootings — and there's still no clear motive.

On Wednesday, authorities also estimated that the costs of police, fire and other emergency services related to the massacre were projected at about $4 million and climbing.

The disclosure came amid pledges by the federal government to provide $1 million, and from the state of Nevada to pay $600,000 to defray costs stemming from the Oct. 1 shooting.

Las Vegas police Officer Laura Meltzer provided what she called a preliminary figure of $3.5 million for department costs associated with the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history.

"We still have a lot of resources devoted to the investigation," Meltzer said. "We still have people working overtime and around the clock on it."

The amount spent on overtime to date amounts to more than half a percent of the annual Las Vegas police budget.

Clark County administrators on Tuesday estimated fire department, coroner and social services costs at between $300,000 and $500,000, county spokesman Erik Pappa said.

"Over the long term, we expect it will be in the millions," he said.

Pappa noted that a facility dubbed the "The Vegas Strong Resiliency Center" opened Monday to serve as a one-stop resource for references and referrals for residents, visitors and responders affected by the shooting. He said it is expected to remain open for several years.

Paddock, a former real estate investor with homes in Reno and Mesquite, Nevada, fired assault-style weapons out two 32nd-floor windows at the Mandalay Bay resort into a crowd of 22,000 people at an open-air country music concert across the street. Police and the FBI have said they believe he acted alone.

The U.S. Justice Department last week announced a $1 million award from "justice assistance" funds to Nevada to help defray immediate costs of responding to the shooting.

On Tuesday, Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval and state Attorney General Adam Laxalt allocated $600,000 from funds that Laxalt said were reaped from a deceptive trade practices lawsuit settlement in July. Laxalt called the money non-taxpayer funds.

Sandoval called the money a first step in providing "any additional resources necessary" to help the investigation, and said the police department should receive the state money within 15 days.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, with almost 2,700 sworn officers, has an annual budget of $552 million. It covers most of Clark County, with a population of about 2 million people and more than 40 million visitors a year. The annual county budget is about $6.6 billion.
