I think you are either ignoring the problem or condoning the behavior for political purposes. But the fact is that Churches do lie because the people in those churches can and will lie if given the opportunity.

 

Don't know and quite frankly, it was not on the list of culture wars at that time by Fox and others. But a human character, the comedic relief of the movie, was in that position, explicitly pointed it out of where he was at, and the entire conversation was funny as hell. Only in a snippet could you see the metallic balls The Fallen had.

 

Not sure those "studies" especially the first one proves what they say it proves (ie teen suicide rate. Sounds fishy on its face) but I dont care enough to analyze the data. Anyway, get back to me when the suicide rates equalize. Until then, my point stands.

I'm asserting that the fact that only 1 in 10 (at most) people being potential partners contributes to unhappiness. I'm supporting my claim that if a child grows out of homosexual tendency phase they stand a better chance of achieving happiness.

Oh really? What did the right do when places of worship all around the nation were caught raping children and then hiding the perps? Did y’all call for these places to be investigated and shut down the same way y’all are doing for events with a drag queen present and overdressed with no crime?

 

They are less unhappy in places without bias in the law and in society. Sometimes substantially so. That means equality in the law, representation and ending bigotry should be the goal.

But thanks for your opinion. Personally I think we need to encourage kids to reject religious propaganda. The difference is one will exist without the need for grooming — the other will vanish.

No one said about Christian Doctrine, but it is quite apparent, that the Denton Bible Youth Minister lied per the internal audit. It caused such a stink that half the congregation left because they kept it quiet, and the results were very damaging. Some 12 young girls were sexually assaulted by the pastor in the 2000s and they were a very young age, like 10 or 11. He is now pled guilty, and sentenced to prison, I think federally. But the youth pastor lied, basically telling them that it was "God's will."

Some people use religion for ulterior motives, whether it is social issues, legal issues, or personal issues. The amount of misinterpretation of the Bible is staggering such as telling people that black people wore "The Mark of Cain" or Paula White, the televangelist, who literally claim that Trump was the next messiah, and so forth. And the same is with homosexuality because the New Testament does not mention it and the Old Testament was based on customs of that time era. In the Jewish faith, if they are observing Shabat, they don't even allow to use electronic devices on that day in their definition of "keeping the Sabbath Holy" and even the Pharisees of Jesus's day questioned Jesus because he was performing miracles on the Sabbath and thus violating the law and Jewish Custom.

 

You may want to look at Florida because it appears they don't have the same rights, and those rights will be further eroded if those three Florida bills are passed and become law.

You might be correct — the only difference is there wasn’t a massive coverup to protect these teachers. I just wish politics didn’t ignore some of these while using others as ammo.
