poor mexicans, suffer humilation, bad and inhumane treatement and abuse Do you think Mexicans have no rights? Viva Mexico
Don't you think Americans are entitled to the right to self-determination? Illegal immigration denies self-determination. Do you have any analogies you would like to make?
Mexicans are americans as for illegal immigration, just Don't employ illegal immigration! Report them to authorities instead of abusing them ! and legal or not, they are human and need to be treated within the standards of human rights
From your flag I see that you are from the E.U. When was the last time you were in the U.S? Mexicans are not being abused by the average U.S. citizen. Ignored maybe but not abused. The abuse comes from smugglers and employers. The average person leaves them alone...but with any people there are exceptions...but they are a minority.
As a former "conservative", and now a Libertarian, I can honestly say my views have changed on this topic somewhat; not entirely, but certainly reshaped. Contributing to my metamorphasis is the fact that I now, in fact, work with a number of Mexican ladies. I do not know their immigration status, but I would suspect some are "illegal", some are "anchor babies", some are "naturalized". People are human beings; they have sympathies, kindnesses, compassions, passion, intelligence, etc... I care very much for some of these ladies. They work hard, they care about others, and they simply want to provide for their children - who can argue against those laudible traits??? Furthermore, the country they come from, and the conditions they are trying to escape - who wouldn't try to flee such conditions??? That is human nature. Mexico is a cesspool of corrupt government, the rich are filthy rich, and the poor are pathetically poor (and make no mistake, the rich ensure it stays that way). America isn't much better, certainly we are dying the predictable death of democracy - but, at least we had the "rule of law" for some 130 years that served as a foundation for freedom. The fact that our nation is now dying is not the fault of immigrants trying to flee poverty and oppression, it is our own fault for allowing our government to descend into democratic corruption. With those things said, we do need to control our borders. We cannot solve the problems of other nations; nor can we lift every human being out of poverty, whose only sin is to be born in a corrupt country. There will never be a solution which satisfies everyone, but we are where we are. I can tell you there was a time when I would have said, "send em all back; send em all back now; and build a fence to keep 'em out". I've softened that stance somewhat, as I now see the human side of it. That said, I still believe we need to build a fence and strictly control our borders; we should have a common sense, and as needed, worker visa program in place (American citizens, first come); but at the same time, rounding up and deporting millions of current illegals is all but logistically unrealistic. Current immigrants are given all kinds of special breaks and assistance, that has to stop - make your own way. But other than that, a path to citizenship should be afforded. I care for the ladies I work with very much... and as it happens, I am now in a difficult financial situation myself b/c of an "unplanned", lol... pregnancy. My Mexican lady friends tell me - you can get help here, and do this, or do that... well, what they don't understand, is that I am a gainfully employed, white male - the only "assistance" I get is from myself. The gravy train has to stop, but we are where we are... rounding up and deporting millions of people simply isn't a workable solution.
But deporting every one busted for a Misdomeaner or Felony and every one who serves his Prison sentance and everyone who lies to get a job and everyone who attempts to vote and ...
No, it's not. Only in certain circumstances. What if they have a legal US child? You're going to deport the parents and throw the kid into a foster home?
The many children that illegal immigrants have in the US are, under current law, legal citizens, and therefore cannot be deported. In any case, it is currently often very problematic to determine which country children were are born in. Hispanic adults who illegally enter the country often bring children with them. But the fact that many children are unable to speak english does not necessarily mean that they were not born in this country. Hispanic countries often do not keep detailed records of births, and undocumented Hispanic mothers often give birth in their homes, so their are often not any records to resolve the ambiguity. Undocumented workers often have families with other Hispanics who are legal citizens. Thus deporting the undocumented worker can mean breaking up a family. This would not be so problematic if the undocumented workers were not allowed in to begin with, and if they were promptly deported before they had time to have children.
Do not be so smug. Once they have established a colony, their population rapidly begins to grow- like a cancerous tumor. Just look what is happening in the southern region of California and Texas! My personal opinion is that, as drastic as this sounds, the USA should sever its ties to these two states to save the rest, like amputating gangrened limbs. Move the boarder further North. Consider this: In 1960, non-Hispanic whites made up 82% of the population of Los Angeles County, which was often regarded as the third most important city in the USA. Today non-Hispanic whites make up only 29.4% of the population! (and most of them live in expensive guarded gated communities on the west side) Another fact: In Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicide (which total 1200 to 1500) target illegal aliens. There are about 400 homicides every year in the city of Los Angeles alone. American citizens have been fleeing the state of California, as the price of housing has become unaffordable, and wages have deteriorated. People in Oregon have been complaining about increasing land prices, blaming all the Californians that have been moving north. This is a case of secondary effects. Immigration from Mexico is displacing those that once lived in California into Oregon. All this immigration has, in may instances, benefitted landowners by increasing rental prices. In Sydney, Australia, many lower income residents view the recent waves of immigration as "more blood fodder for the parisitic land-vampires!"
I highly, highly doubt there's a significant population of illegals in my area. Probably in single digits if you count all the ones in the surrounding towns. North Jersey is pretty illegal immigrant free. WHAT!? WHAT!? WHAT!?
Here is crime stats on illegal immigrants, almost none covered by the MSM http://www.newnation.tv/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=209
This is the only forum that has the stats. i can't help it if someone uses a racial slur. The MSM covers up the statistics that was my point. Here is a better link with pictures. http://www.newnation.org/NNN-news-invasion.html
The problem of illegal aliens is easy to solve. Most of them have children. Sooner or later those kids go to school. Bus the kids to the border, and tell the parents they can pick their kids up in Baja. No muss no fuss. On a more serious note, what is so special about Mexicans without education, skills or money? Nothing. There are millions of people around the world who want to come to America. Those would be immigrants who have no skills, money or education bring nothing to the table. The interests of the American people are only served by admitting immigrants who have something to offer to us.
How do we know who has something to offer? I entered so easily with nothing to my name but a few test scores and a secondary school certificate.
Mass immigration has been the undoing of leftwing political parties across Europe since it erodes the shared values that are an essential prerequisite of a well-funded welfare state. Why should indigenous, working populations support the high levels of taxation necessary to sustain generous welfare payments if the beneficiaries are people unlike themselves? If they cant look at a benefit recipient and think, There, but for the grace of God, go I, why should they continue to pay such high taxes? This problem was spelt out by David Willetts a few years ago: The basis on which you can extract large sums of money in tax and pay it out in benefits is that most people think the recipients are people like themselves, facing difficulties that they themselves could face. If values become more diverse, if lifestyles become more differentiated, then it becomes more difficult to sustain the legitimacy of a universal risk-pooling welfare state. People ask: Why should I pay for them when they are doing things that I wouldnt do? This is America versus Sweden. You can have a Swedish welfare state provided that you are a homogeneous society with intensely shared values. In the United States you have a very diverse, individualistic society where people feel fewer obligations to fellow citizens. Progressives want diversity, but they thereby undermine part of the moral consensus on which a large welfare state rests.
You could speak English. And you had test scores that showed aptitude and that you wanted to be educated. That means you had put yourself in the position to be of value. You wanted to be an immigrant rather than a colonist, expatriate, or dweller in a separate reality.
