Correction. Migrants going through the asylum process enter through ports of entry. Illegal aliens do not. They are illegal aliens according to the law. There is a legal way to entry the country. Every other ways is, well, illegal.

The big issue though is that most are either entering through legal ports of entry or overstaying their visa.

Something needs to be done about all 3 items

 

Almost 9 million have entered illegally just since Biden took office. Most enter illegally. We have immigration laws for good reason. We just need to enforce them. Immigration law says that illegal entrants must be returned to the other side of the border. We have a record of people overstaying a visa. We don't even know where those 9 million people are or who they are.

 

I realize that these facts need to be omitted from the discussion in order to make a case that incentivizing illegal immigration is from a position of genuine concern for humanity.
