America and its allies France/UK etc. has made a lot of fuss + with Red Lines, and threats to bomb Syria to degrade the Syrian army , but no mention of Israel's Weapons of Mass destruction - How long can Israel be allowed to keep its WMDs and use it to intimidate its neighbours ?

The "enemy" in that case is a very big part of the Syrian ppl, read some reports from the refugee camps in Lebanon, Turkey and Jordan.

 

Refugees fled for safety away from either of combating sides , Most fled BEFORE CWs was used.

 

Israel's alleged nuclear weapons for example were apparently first developed in the 70s. So for 40 years they sit, unused, as thousands of rockets have fallen on Israeli cities, these are a stabilizing force in the region as some countries will think twice about a massive air strike on Jerusalem or Tel Aviv. Which of course would start a regional war that would envelope every major world power.

Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states are upset not with Assad having such things but how they were used.

It is the same argument as with guns. Owning guns is a right and people who own guns legally and operate them legally should be left to do so within the reason of the kinds of weapons ordinary citizens should own. (Tanks, Anti-aircraft missles etc should be off the table.) But if someone is a known violent felon and has used these guns for evil purposes they should be banned from having them.
