We as a nation vote on what we as a nation decide is worth doing. It's impossible to get everyone to agree on anything. Complete freedom is an illusion - you must pay the bills to eat, and to pay them you must do something with your time that someone is willing to pay for. Like it or not. You can't buy something nobody is selling, like it or not. When we vote to determine national policy, that policy necessarily includes everyone who voted against it. Like it or not. And if you don't bother to vote, you're letting everyone else make important decisions for you. If you DO vote, you are voting to have people do things your way. No getting around it, sorry.

But isn't that what your in fact saying?: That the climate is getting 'warmer'? So much so to not be able to sustain life? The rising oceans! Soon, the world will meet the fate of Atlantis! This is the second winter in a row we've gotten unbearable chills.(Not so much snow, but good god chills). I think if the planet comes as close to Pluto as freaking possible(Pluto is the furthest from the Sun, hence the coldest) that kind of debunks "warming".

Which is why you changed it to "change" and now your battle is to go from something perhaps slightly plausible(changing warmness) to stopping the climate from changing. If you get around to that miracle, warmer planet> colder planet. We're mammals, but we don't have fur. We prefer heat over cold.

Though the various climates support the various ecosystems and not just our own. So the variation in climate is actually desired for the preservation of wildlife. How ironic.

Nobody enjoys paying taxes. Global warming has nothing to do with it - it's a drop in the bucket compared to the money spent on useless wars. But even pacifists have to shell out orders of magnitude more for taxes than the fraction of a penny you might be paying to preserve your living standard. Yeah, tough. Move to Ethiopia.

My money is no different then anyone else's. It's all money after all. Unless you're trying to tell me that I'm supposed to give up my money while you get to keep yours.
