Well, in terms of the distinction, I suspect many people feel they have a moral duty to pass judgement given that with regards to the illegal activities pertaining to the occupation, it's Israel that's failing to abide by UNSC resolutions they are a signatory to. As to your second point, there is sufficient enough evidence to conclude that the conflict isn't made up and manufactured.

 

The academic research group I cited conclude that Western corporate/mainstream media bias in favour of the Israeli's is endemic and institutionalised. Now, that's the significant underlying context. Given this significance, do I condone that? Yes. Do I condone what are purported to be Palestinian made videos? No, for two reasons. Firstly, because the two things are in no way comparable, and secondly, I personally feel that given the nature of the "conflict", the Palestinian's are justified. In any case, there is no conclusive evidence that the crude examples of badly produced propaganda you posted were the work of the Palestinian's themselves. It's far more likely that these contrived photographs were the work of the Israeli's for the purpose of engendering the responses of the kind illustrated by their ardent supporters on here.

 

Do we have an equal amount of photoshopping being done by Israel? I'll admit I haven't been going out of my way to look for it but there's been plenty of articles on N. Korea and Iran and their amateur attempts. Heck, the funniest ones - I am reminded of this because I mentioned it in an earlier post, we had one poster who (thankfully) hasn't been on in a very long while screaming that Reuters was owned lock,stock, and barrel by Israel/Jews/Zionists, but could not explain why this very same agency was showing widely exaggerated and retouched photos of Israeli bombing and suchlike as documented here. Or for a real damning account of our press taking Hezbollah's side, here.

No, but I think there's sufficient evidence of falsification on the part of certain Muslim parties involved that a great deal of what they're accusing Israel of is exaggerated at best and made up at worse.

What proof of this false-flag photoshopping done by Israel do you have, though? I disagree, I think it's more likely that some Arab agency ignorant of things like "bloggers" (much like Dan Rather) did it themselves in a botched attempt to make Israel look bad - it's happened before. Furthermore, I think Israel, whatever else you might say about it, is smart enough to realize that if it did start photoshopping stuff much like N. Korea and Iran, that they would be caught faster than an MSNBC correspondant saying something stupid and then they would REALLY be raked across the coals.

But again, taking your argument one step further, how can one be sure that the Palestinians aren't themselves staging false-flag attacks on themselves in order to gain sympathy for their cause? It works both ways.

I admit I have no evidence as to who were the actual culprits. However, it's illogical that the Palestinian's or their supporters would have produced something this crude without realizing the obvious finger-pointing this would generate in the opposite direction. Whether or not it was the Israeli government who was behind this photoshopping as opposed to any other supporter of Israel is essentially moot.

I agree that it's entirely possible that the Palestinians and/or their supporters are staging false flags too.

Yes, frankly. It's not as though the Israeli side does not have a history of crude photoshopping. The Mavi Marmara is a classic example. I'm not saying they don't engage in propaganda also but these crude examples on here stink of a false flag.

No bigotry at all. I think Zionist terrorists are every bit as bad as Muslim terrorists. I am religiously neutral in the fact that I find religion to be at best pathetic and I hold no racial bias. It takes two to tango though and Israel has proven time and time again that there are no lines they are not willing to cross in their self interests. Its why they illegally lobby our government with money we taxpayers are forced to give them. Its why China has drones that look exactly like ours and Israel sold them the technology and intel to build them, I can go on if you need me too. Follow the money and the power.
