It does not represent heterosexual people in the slightest. No more than a Confederate flag would represent anyone from the north.

Both flags are not inclusive and if you're going to say it's okay to fly one then it should be okay to fly the other.

The requirement passed by these states is for the teaching of history and social science to accurately portray LGBTQ+ people and their identities. Why is that such an issue for you? What are you so afraid of?

Neither one of us get to decide. Lgbtq has a specific meaning and none of the letterings stand for heterosexual.

They have every right to project their "queerness," just as straight kids have every right to project their heterosexuality. You would do well not to associate what happens in school classrooms and campuses with the media putting people projecting aggression on TV. This isn't happening in schools...
