“We say, stick it to Southern Poverty Law Center and donate to us,” Tina Descovich declared on the broadcast. “Show that we don’t care what they think.”

Descovich’s fellow “Moms For Liberty” co-founder, Tiffany Justice, then informed listeners that an unnamed donor offered to match contributions on Wednesday up to $300,000.

“Yeah, people are fired up with Southern Poverty Law Center going after moms,” Descovich said. “I think we just passed the $30,000 mark on donations. … We’ll take any size donation.”

I don't think anybody should complain about freedom of speech. Mom's for Liberty were appropriately listed as a hate group but they have a right to spur hate speech. What is most shameful is that education authorities in the state cater to their homophobic and bigoted agenda. I would, however, consider their book banning activities, which include threatening lawsuits and harassing teachers who are just trying to educate children (I'm not sure, but I think this is one of the sources of the "teachers are pedophiles" narrative in this forum), a form of terrorism.

If you are going to make that assertion, you have to have SOMETHING to point to in order to draw that conclusion. What do you point to that leads you to that conclusion? What threat have they made?

Who is that threatening? How is that threatening anyone?

Its an odd statement for sure, but its not a threat. If anything, it is saying she is not a threat because she is saying she does not have mental issues. Even if it were a threat, she certainly is not speaking for the group. At most even IF you are going to twist logic and successfully label that as a threat, that is a criminal act. It in no way means a group she is a part of is therefore a terrorist group.It would be one thing if you had a group edict issuing threats, as far as I know there is no such thing.

 

nearly everyone that reads that quote agrees that the woman has mental issues. garland had ample reason to protect the school boards, plenty of them, that werethreatened by people like this.

 

Lets say for a minute that the people that say she has mental issue are 100% correct. I know nothing about her so I cannot comment one way or the other.

But even if we say she is mental, she is clearly saying that she is not mental. Her statement is therefore not issuing a threat because she does not see herself as mental. You are trying to rationalize that she is saying if she were mental she would shoot, and that since despite her claims she really is mental, therefore that means she is threatening to shoot and that is not how that works. The only thing that is relevant in regards to whether that is a threat is whether she thinks she is crazy, and clearly she does not think that.

On top of that her statement was in past tense, not for a future action. It seems to me for something to be a threat it would not be in the past tense. If a person were to say, "if I had been there, I would have kicked your a**", is NOT a threat. For it to be a threat, it would have to be looking forward such as "next time I see you I am going to kick your a**"

 

The hate group label probably fits.

Calling them a terrorist group though does devalue the term as FAW pointed out earlier.

 

When are Americans going to come to their senses and realize that EVERYONE that disagrees with the liberal progressive agenda is a terrorist? It's so simple! The rule is "agree with us or you're a terrorist". how can we get any more simple than that but Americans STILL just don't get it. SMH.
