How is a handful of drag queens doing something nice for kids "going out of their way"? You realize those aren't drag shows, right?

You might be able to find an isolated case of drag queens in nursing homes but I doubt it. To the extent that you can it will be very isolated.

How big of a problem was this in Montana that they had to write a law to ban it? Do they have an unusually high concentration of drags in Montana? If so, I wonder why that is the case. Truth be told, the representative says they have never been asked to read in drag at a school, so the law criminalizes something that has never actually taken place. They might as well create a law which criminalized space aliens from reading to kids.

They argue they created the law because kids should not be exposed to sexualized content, and yet at the same time the law says absolutely nothing about content (or any kind), it only criminalizes the dress of the speakers.
