More blacks, Latinos in jail than college dorms

I would propose a non-government education system which may include public schools as existed before government took over; no minimum wage as it serves to prevent minority youth from obtaining needed job skills; and lifting the war on drugs and any prohibition on the activities of peaceful people. Perhaps you are for killing people for violating statutes, but I'm not in favor of homicide of any kind, including that which is state sponsored. I also don't force my morals upon others, demanding, for instance, that some pay for the healthcare of others without their consent, or that some provide their lives and wealth without their consent for the purpose of building other nations or overthrowing foreign governments.

As for who mucked it up, I'd pin that squarely on the totalitarians. People who think that the role of government is to teach children to be good government citizens, servile and obedient to authority (if you think there was another purpose to the government takeover of education, please provide the evidence.) People who think that the bodies of individuals belong to the state and should not be "corrupted" by substances not approved of by the state. People who think that the product of the labor of others belongs to the state and can be taken to satisfy any moral desire they express.

To the authoritarian liberal or conservative, freedom is a dangerous thing. To them, minorities need the strong hand of government to protect them from poverty and to punish them when they stray, particularly if it's too close to white people.

it's even more amazing when you realize that it's so easy for blacks to attend college. GPAs of 2.0 and SATs of 800 will get them admitted.

then add the full scholarships they get on top of that.

And yes, the reasons behind the crime is poverty. When you reduce the poverty the crime is reduced, is a fact. Whatever the colour of the people.

 

Why would they go to collage when they can get a gun and go sell crack...Then when they get caught those that chose to do the right thing will have to pay for em to have 3 hots and a cot for the rest of their life...its a frigging joke.

Black and hispanic crime is due to looking for an easy way to get through life..

 

The problem is that you can go to jail without finishing, one way or another, high school.

 

When your born in a poor hood and struggle to live, college is top priority.

 

It is if you want to move to learn to speak English, get a good job, and move your family to a better neighborhood.

 

When you are raised in the hood you are not raised to that.
You are not educated.

If you are raised by a mother and a father and one or both of them work, you are often raised to do that and you are educated in spite of liberal union-controlled schools.
