    Agreed...and for some reason it would seem native English speakers are considered rude instead of the opposite, creating resentment and backlash that if anything, harms the position they wish to forward.

    Yes. It is offensive. That's not Mexico. Similar where I live. I hear Russians speak their language. If they ask me in their language, I'll give them a ready-to-kill-ya look and carry on. That's arrogance on its highest level.

    In the USA: Speak U.S. English.

    Outside of USA: Speak the native language where you're currently residing, or speak the only International language if you're a tourist or just passing by - English.
