…Republicans actually have the edge in Miami-Dade among Hispanic voters, specifically — a traditional target demographic of Democrats.

Miami-Dade is a traditionally blue county in the Sunshine State, home to many Hispanic voters who have roots fleeing communist regimes…

…GOP Hispanic voters outnumber Democrat Hispanic voters in the county.

Data last updated August 1 shows 252,395 Hispanic voters in Miami-Dade are registered Democrats, while 323,133 are registered Republicans, +70,738 for Republicans.

“Miami-Dade Hispanic voters are rejecting socialism and embracing freedom,” the Florida GOP declared. “Let’s Keep Florida Free!”…

    T
he Hispanic population is no longer a part of the democrat party coalition. The democrat party has abandoned its working class base and those who have religious beliefs and values. They are fleeing the philosophy and the rhetoric that came from regimes they fled from that are now being advocated by the democrat party.

Watching the news and hearing that so many of those coming across the Biden controlled border are from Venezuela, Nicaragua, Cuba makes me wonder if the Biden regime knows what it’s importing, particularly if they that come have family already here. How many more Mayra Flores’s are coming here?

    This is "NEWS"?
The Cubans in Dade (practically) single-handedly delivered Florida to Trump in 2020...
Around 55 percent of Florida's Cuban-American vote went to Trump, according to NBC News exit polls, while 30 percent of Puerto Ricans and 48 percent of "other Latinos" backed Trump. Trump won the coveted battleground state with its 29 electoral votes.
Trump drastically improved his support in Miami-Dade County, going from 333,999 votes in 2016 to at least 529,16 votes this year. Biden, however, wasn’t able to grow Democratic support in the county. Clinton got 624,146 votes there in 2016 and with 95 percent of the vote tallied, Biden had 613,086.

How many other blue areas are turning red thanks to Biden? Democrats are losing blacks and browns, what cards will need to be played in order to keep their loyalty? What free **** can you use to buy their votes?

I saw an interview with the Republican mayor of Miami as to why his city was so much safer than other big cities run by democrats and after the years Miami was anything but safe until recently.

From your mouth to Gods ears…I believe that rural Hispanics in California are beginning to trend GOP. Getting the SoCal urban ones will be much harder but possible.

Dude - crack open a book. The Cuban population of Miami has ALWAYS been more Republican. This is nothing new.
    Try again.

But South Florida is a unique case study. No other place has quite the same mix of Republican-friendly Hispanics, led by conservative Cuban-Americans.

“Miami is a total bubble,” said Michael J. Bustamante, an assistant professor of Latin American history at Florida International University who studies Cuban-American political culture. “You can’t talk about the Latino community or Hispanic community here in the same way perhaps that you talk about it in East L.A. or Chicago or New York or wherever because here, Latinos run the show.”

The Republican mayor of Miami is now a Hispanic American. Since the end of the cold war the Cuban population was becoming more democrat until Obama and his actions toward Cuba that and Trumps overtures ended that and now other Hispanic ethnic groups are filling suite including African American Haitians

And why are the Cubans republican? it's because they saw what happened with Castro and see the same thing in modern democrats.

    Cuban population

Oct 2, 2020 — Nationwide, 58% of Cuban registered voters say they affiliate with or lean toward the Republican Party, while 38% identify as or lean Democratic party

Uneducated, 60+ years of sanctions really helped US relations *shaking head*

Republican candidate Donald Trump said at a rally in Miami that he will reverse Obama’s deals with Cuba.

No - they are Republicans because their fathers are Republicans because Kennedy and Johnson failed to take back Cuba for them. End of story.

So how do you explain other Hispanics moving to the GOP elsewhere in the country? Are you going to rationalize away the Hispanics in Texas near the border with Mexico as well?

Nobody is denying that Cubans vote more Republican than Democrat - it's your claim that this is something new that
is bullcrap. It's been that way since Kennedy and Johnson failed to get back Cuba from Castro.
