More IT issues, CAN NOT use ADMINISTRATOR HYPERLINK

Anyone that knows me knows I am against the silly twenty min time limit. I have another reason not to like the limit that I haven’t mentioned until now. When something happens like I get a 404 database error etc then use the try again option by the time I get back up I get something like this; The time limit has expired please contact administrator (the administrator is a hyperlink). So I mash’ the administrator hyperlink and get another error notice saying the action can not be completed! Please contact webmaster of PF. What gives the administrator can not be reached! Please remove it or restore the function. Additionally It would be nice to be able to contact the Admin in times of emergency, not necessarily to (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) about things. As I said there is only one Mod that I have issues with and they are few and far in between.

So what gives I.T. (internet technology) man? Thanks in advance~

If we got rid of the 20 min time limit, people would be waiting until no Mods were online, then would be insulting each other and deleting their posts as soon as a Mod came online. We don't want that to happen.

With contacting the Admin, I believe youcan email her. Her address should be listed when you click the 'Forum Leaders' link.

 

Maybe that would be true if the time limit were unlimited. 20 min is ridiculous for several reasons, the main being; Most crashes of this site lasts at LEAST 10>15 min. So if the site goes down for whatever usually I get a 'data base error' so sometimes when I who admittedly post much more than a lazy one line response am trying to re-post etc a thread Ii often lose it because the time limit expires BEFORE the site comes back up. I post and have posted on and in many sites and this is the second such site that has a limit.

( I see where you addressed this and have not had a chance to try it, however the following still has some relevance) ; The second most maddening thing is when we get this outdated message;

The administrator has specified that you can only edit messages for 20 minutes after you have posted. This limit has expired, so you must contact the administrator to make alterations on your message.

Ok so try to use the administer hyperlink and GUESS WHAT????? It says; PAGE NOT FOUND. In other words the webmaster should either delete that message or fix it. Lastly making the time limit 60 to 120 min with a rule that only grammar etc could be edited would be much better and even should reduce the workload on the mods, and make a better looking forum with better edited posts etc.
