Are pro-lifers going to continue to claim that their anti-abortion bills are for the purpose of giving women MORE INFORMATION?

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/02/06/kansas-anti-abortion-bill_n_1258185.html?ref=politics

A Kansas House committee is scheduled to take up a bill Wednesday that would exempt doctors from malpractice suits if they withheld medical information to prevent an abortion. The measure would also take away tax credits for abortion providers, remove tax deductions for the purchase of abortion-related insurance coverage and require women to hear the fetal heartbeat. The bill includes several provisions, which passed in other states and now face federal lawsuits. The bill would also require women be told about potential breast cancer risks from abortions, even though medical experts discount such a connection.

It's such a disgraceful waste of tax payers money and makes me so angry.
These people not only want doctors to withhold vital information from their patients, but they want them to lie.

    Not gonna happen.

Mind, this bit made me smile:

In addition, a woman would not be able to sue if she suffers health damage from a pregnancy as a result of information withheld from her to prevent an abortion. A wrongful death suit could still be filed, however, if the mother died.

By means of a ouija board, perhaps?

The lunatics are taking over the asylum.

They will refuse to tell the woman if her unborn baby has a heart defect, or a fatal illness, which will cause her suffering after the birth. Those doctors should be out of business. If you refuse to disclose all information regarding a pregnancy to the woman, you should not be practicing.

So the legislation is...in other words...ordering doctors to lie to their patients.

This could cause further complications down the line. Its absolutely disgusting.

I just love it when those bastards pontificate about reducing spending and then waste millions of their idiocy. Hypocrisy does not even begin to describe this.

Why? Aren't women bodies without a soul and yearning to obtain their soul that can be achieved only by falling pregnant? And then, we men must protect the women from losing their souls when losing their pregnancy. This is how important these laws are. Or, do you want to walk soulless?
WHAHAHA (Can't pump more BS now, will continue later.)

    I'd vote for this!

    http://www.addictinginfo.org/2012/0...bation-amendment-added-to-anti-abortion-bill/

On February 6, following Personhood USA’s push to proclaim fertilized human eggs the same as grown humans, the Republican dominated Oklahoma legislature introduced the bill known as “Personhood Bill” SB 1433 to the Senate Floor. In response, Democratic State Senator Constance Johnson attached an amendment to the bill that would ban the spilling of semen in any location other than a woman’s vagina.

According to the report in thelostogle.com, the amendment would outlaw masturbation by men, and all forms of sexual activity “in which a man ejaculates or otherwise deposits semen anywhere but in a woman’s vagina shall be interpreted and construed as an action against an unborn child.” Monty Python would be so proud!

I love this one. HAHAHA This is the best.

(I thought though that it was always outlawed for a male to masturbate himself, as if it was easier than to get a girlfriend.)

Anti abortion bills have nothing to do with 'saving lives' and everything to do with punishing women.

This may be true, considering that childsupport/alimony bills have nothing to do with child/women's welfare and everything to do with punishing men.
