So typical. In an election awhile back in a somewhat conservative town close to where I currently live, a runoff ensued between the two top candidates. In a close race between the frontrunner and his opponent (both are white), the opponent learned an interesting fact; in their mostly white district, the minority of black voters backed the frontrunner. (Maybe because she was the more liberal of the two?) The opponent began a shrill campaign about black voters backing the frontrunner; as expected, the racists in this district learned about the black support for the frontrunner and as typical with these racists, the opponent was able to win the election. I thought we we were over Trump's America, but I guess not.
"You're going to vote for me . . . I think any Jewish people that vote for a Democrat — I think it shows either a total lack of knowledge or great disloyalty," - Donald Trump
You should watch the whole thing. There's a reason why the Jewish community roundly criticized him for anti-Semitism over this speech.
Why is the left so totally freaking out about Trump? He is not running in 2022. His interest in 2024 happily causes the left to expose themselves as the weapons grade socialist Nazis they really are. The crazy left wants the government to Big Foot Trump, but ignore the crooked Prez Biden and Hunter dealing under the table enriching China. Do we have a “Unhinged Rants” section?
He tried to steal an election and remains the leader of one of our 2 major parties. There is no presidential election in 2022. . . . so you admit he plans to run again, thus answering why people are still talking about him. Caring about our democratic elections does not make one a socialist or a Nazi. And, no, the Nazis (at least post-Hitler) were not socialists. Nor does this have anything to do with socialism. Criticizing Trump has nothing to do with wanting to eliminate private ownership of the means of production. In fact, I've heard more of a desire for that from Trump supporters than from their critics. I'm to the right of Trump on economics. There's the reason that the ONLY economic source that he used on the campaign trail was a leftist one. Hunter, Trump, and Ivanka all did business with China. Ivanka did so while working for the White House. There is no evidence that either Hunter or his father were "dealing under the table" with China. I agree that this would be the appropriate place for the nonsense post I just quoted.
I'm not fond of MSNBC. They do a **** job of differentiating between news and editorial. I can link to some sources if you actually care to learn about this. Personally, I prefer WSJ and Reuters. I look forward to you playing make-believe that those are far-left sources like MSNBC. Meanwhile, name one thing I said that isn't objectively true. Just one. We can start with one. You can't. You won't. You are already fleeing.
Just to make sure I'm understanding your OP. Two white people were neck and neck in some kind of election. Word got around that black people were supporting one candidate so some people came out in full force to elect the other guy? Am I understanding this clearly? I don't understand why you are calling this racist, OP. Can you expound on that for me, please? And, before anybody starts clutching the pearls, I absolutely know that racism still exists and minorities are still being marginalized. I've advocated for many, many people over the years and have no hang-ups about any group of people based on their race, religion, sexuality, favorite or whatever other dumb@ss reasons have to stereotype and discount others. I just don't see *how* this incident is racist.
That is simply your take based on your bias. Your accusation is fact - free and only viable in the “Hate Trump-o-sphere”. He is not the “leader”. There has been no appointed “leader”.
Which part isn't based on fact? He did, indeed, try to still the election. He is still, indeed, the leader of the party. This is only viable in the "accept-reality-o-sphere." I can understand why this may be alien territory to most Trump supporters at this point.
"Everyone of X race should vote for me instead of my opposition, specifically because of their race." Can you not understand how this sentiment is racist whether you are talking about black people or Jewish people?
Now that a few of you have participated in this post I'll reveal the link: https://www.whio.com/news/politics/councilman-andre/J5DJJC75RXMOBDBOAPUDGOPAVY/ Note that I made one significant change in my OP: I identified the candidates as white. Actually, they are black. And indeed, the race was controversial because one of the candidates was backed by white voters. From the article: "Some of Moore's critics attacked her as the favorite of white voters, a frequent tactic in a city where many white and Black voters are divided by income and geography. Both Moore and Dickens are Black." Wonder why Democratic Party controlled cities are failing and crime-ridden and cess pools? They care more about avoiding the white vote than actual governing. Thus, our cities now more resemble third world shitholes in Africa or South America than the U.S. This is Joe Biden's America...
I'm assuming you think the MSNBC talking points are fake news. Please point out which ones were false.
That is a ridiculous comment. I have seen the photo, but never read the comment. The funny thing is that he is selling his Towers now.
Diversity is our strength. Different races can and will support different candidates out of self interest.
