In a survey about 101,000 Americans conducted from January 2016 to January 2017 by the Public Religion Research Institute, the Catholic Church in the US is undergoing what the researchers called "an ethnic transformation", with more than half of under-30 Catholics in the country now being Hispanic, versus only 36% who are white non-Hispanic. Rhode Island, which also has the largest percentage of Catholics out of all the states in the country, still has the largest percentage of non-Hispanic whites in the country, making up three-fourths of the Catholic population in that state.
ZOMG! More Catholics!! I'm a former Catholic, but I don't mind Catholics. Nice people. You shouldn't hate people for their chosen religion.
I think this goes to show how much immigration there has been into the country. Obviously there will be effects on politics as well. (This is a political forum)
The country swings back and forth. It always has. It always will. Why are you afraid of Hispanic Catholics?
Trump needs Penn. One of his problems is immigrants in Penn voting Dem. Wanna guess where they came from?
