Not surprised. You argue exactly according to the precepts of Orwell, where the truth is called a lie.
But I forgive you, because as the scripture says - you "do not know what you are doing."

Either I take Russia's declarations at their word and honor the sovereignty of Ukraine a borders, recognizing Ukraine as a state or I come to the understanding that Russia lies.

    Which is it?

Not comparable. Russia wanted to put NUKES in Cuba. There are no nukes placed on any NATO country that borders Russia. Defensive missiles designed to shoot down nukes...sure. Offensive missiles like nukes? Nope.

Closest NATO ally that has nukes is Turkey.

Turns out there were already tactical nukes in Cuba under local command.

You don't know that .. and neither does Putin ... and further these can be changed out quickly and replaced with nukes .. but even if all that were not the case .. any missile on Russia's border is offensive .. any military base .. The claim "Oh this is only defensive in purpose" an admission that it is offensive .. and thus used only by the militarily illiterate and/or those lacking in rational thought.

You would not be trying to claim that ABM's are not "Offensive" .. as we know this is moronic idiocy ... so what kind of missiles are you referring to .. the ones that are not offensive .. keeping in mind that having the capability to shoot down any missile .. not just nuclear .. comming from Russia is viewed as a threat...

There was one fellow who was trying to claim .. nuclear missiles in Cuba would not be viewed as a threat by the Pentagon .. that was a laugh. and of course nuclear missiles in cuba are comparable to nuclear missiles on Russia's borders in Poland .. or any missile for that matter .. both are viewed as a threat .. nuke just being a bigger threat .. but since Putin doesn't know what kind of missile it is .. doesn't matter whether it is nuclear or not.

Just crucified your position .. need to upgrade assessment ability mate .. your view of the board is ridiculously wrong.

I do know that. Proof is in the pudding that the baltics do not house nukes. And let's pretend that Russia takes all of Ukraine like their little heart desires...they will then be on NATO's border...Poland, Hungary...you would be worried again about nukes. LOL.

You don't know squat about what is housed in the ABM sites any more than Putin .. and since they stopped inspections .. no one going to know any different. Either way .. the claim that ABM's or other missiles on Russia's border is not viewed by Putin as a threat is false nonsense on steroids -- were Russia to put such a site on US borders .. like during the Cuban missile crisis .. the wails from the Pentagon would be heard round the world .. akin to the screams of a woman during childbirth .. similar to the last missile crisis in Cuba.

Why you are rambling on about Russia taking all of Ukraine I do not know ... totally disconnected from the subject of the convo .. which is your ridiculously false position that Putin does not view these missiles sites as a threat .. and that the US would act differently ..

Hoplessly lost your position. Little different from the fellow who tried to claim nuclear cruise missiles in Cuba were not a threat .. fkn joke that was .. and this little different.

I guess Putin better invade the Baltics then, huh? I wish them god's speed.

I have three words for this commie ******nozzle.

    Bring. It. On.

Your military is destroyed, your stock of weapons and vehicles have been depleted because you militarily invaded a neighbor who wasn't doing anything to you, and you're gonna lecture US???? F-off.

That is the best idea I have heard this entire week. The USSR and Russia have always been the 'Evil Empire', as former President Regan made clear way back in the 80s. They are not only a threat to world peace, they are now a demonstrated threat that must be dealt with, and the idea of breaking the entire country up might just deal with that threat once and for all.

I don't want a world where our grandkids grandchildren are still squabbling with this pissant country who only has any influence because some nuclear scientist figured out how to create a bomb way back before pretty much everyone on this forum was even born, and if that is how we accomplish it, I'm perfectly fine with it.

The Japanese found out the hard way (see the chart on page one of this thread for an elaboration) what happens when you poke the bear, and you commies are dangerously close to poking the bear.

I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing that I'm not POTUS, because if I was, and if our intelligence operations confirmed, or even strongly suspected that there were russian subs patrolling the world's oceans with nuclear weapons on board, as the OP (who is a russian troll, possibly a paid one) I would order them to be taken out. Like, today. I am as certain as I can be without access to classified information that we probably have fast attack boats trailing them as I type these words, so the time from POTUS ordering them taken out and it being done would be measured in hours.

But go ahead... FA, and FO.

Posting idiotic pictures is the one who is living in myth. ABM's on Russia's border are not "myth" .. not some big conspiracy theory.

The only one living in the land of fantasy is the one thinking the Pentagon would not view nuclear cruise missiles in cuba as a threat .. that would be borderline deluded don't you agree ? ..

speaking of which .. what about invasion of the baltics?? .. has absolutely zero to do with this conversation .. that ABM's are a threat . and just incite a nuclear war and Vlad will be nuking those ABM sites first thing to go .. so never mind invasion.

Kinda got lost round the corner aye mate .. :?!

Ahahaha.... Chinese comrades think differently. In China, they said that an attempt to defeat Russia for NATO would end in humiliation, - Hu Xijin in an article for the Global Times newspaper.
“Russia alone can already resist the entire West,” Hu Xijin said.

So what? Without your little nuclear toys, russia is a 3rd rate country with a few nice cities (to visit!), and some hot women, but a lot of them have already moved over here. I should know, as I've... known some of them quite well, though we didn't even have a spoken language in common. And frankly, I'm not all that worried about your little nukes, as I do believe that if push comes to shove, w have the capability to take them out before they can ever leave their silos, boats, or planes.

So like I said... Bring it on. FAAFO.

That's why it's important to get all of Ukraine into NATO including the Eastern Russian-speaking part.

The hypersonic missiles we expect to have in quantity, sited in Eastern Ukraine could hit Moscow four minutes after launch,

giving them very little time to get into their shelters.
