I should think that the more unsettling take away here is the fact that their even exist a congressional slush fund to settle sexual harassment claims against Congress.

Yep, now that Gaetz has his next job secured at OAN, and he won't be coming back to Congress for a while, there is no reason to keep blocking the release. This is all political.

In any case, the revolving door between the GOP, DC conservative politicians, and RW for profit media is really disturbing. Oh, and before the "but Dems" posts come in, I also had a problem with Cuomo reporting on his brother on CNN. However, both of them are gone now, whereas in RW world they typically cycle the wagons for their own miscreants, like Gaetz. Or, they promote them to anchor positions, to spew more RW propaganda.
