    Really?

You might want to blow the dust of the history book you clearly never read.

There were exactly two Democratic president between 1865 and 1932.

After that, because of the total wreck that Harding era policy left the global economy in, there were only two Republican presidents between 1932 and 1974.

Since reconstruction the RP establishment and the DP establishment have been part of the same united ruling political class.

“In recent years, despite thousands of bills introduced into Congress every year, only a small percentage (approximately 5%) become law. Of course, what matters for laws is quality not quantity. But why would legislators bother to introduce so many hopeless bills? What if they are not even designed to pass? What if they are instead designed to make money? The cold harsh reality in Washington is this: the very conditions that are so maddening for most Americans —gridlock, problems being ignored, hyper partisanship — are the very conditions that are most lucrative for the Permanent Political Class. Washington may not be working for citizens, but it's working quite well for members of the Permanent Political Class who profit handsomely.” EXTORTION, "How Politicians Extract Your money, BuyVotes, And Line Their Own Pockets, Peter Schweizer, HMO, NY, NY, 2013, p. 7,8.

Politics in America is just show business for the ugly.

.I don't know what any of that has to do with anything. A low passage rate is not unusual in any legislative body.

I realize that clinging to conspiracy theories about the "deep state", the "new world order" the Trilateral Society or whatever form the black helicoptor guys are imagined to be at any given time, is a lot easier and requires a lot less actual knowledge than paying attention to credibile news sources and understanding how your government works.

Making blanket assignments like this is the lazy man's answer to politics.

    LOL!

“They gather, all the brands, at the self-referential festivals, like the April White House Correspondents Association dinner, whose buffet of “pre-parties” and “after-parties” now number more than two dozen– because a single banquet, it is clear, cannot properly celebrate the full achievements of the People Who Run Your Country. … The insider swarm has been known by various names: “Permanent Washington”. “The Political Class”. “The Chattering Class”. “The Usual Suspects”. “The Beltway Establishment”. “The Echo Chamber”. “The Echo System”. “The Gang of 500”. “The Gang 600”. “The Movable Mess”. “The Club”. Mark Leibovich, This Town, Penguin Books, 2013, p. 8.

So, do you think Leibovich is one of them alt right black helicopter dudes? ;-)

I'm sure there are perfectly competent prosecutors available to Sessions without requiring another Special Counsel:

Inspector General Report Into Hillary Email Investigation to be Released In May

    I'm looking forward to it:

So what's going to be in this report? The IG has been very tight-lipped but a report published in January by the Washington Post indicated Horowitz was looking at McCabe's apparent failure to pursue a probe involving Hillary's email server...
Specifically, that's in regard to McCabe being told that classified information was found on Anthony Weiner's computer -- yet sitting on that information for weeks.

    And...

Horowitz was also looking into why an investigation into the Clinton Foundation also seemed to stall at McCabe's desk...
A lot of investigations into Hillary Clinton died on McCabe's desk.

McCabe, notoriously, refused to recuse himself from overseeing these investigations, despite his wife getting a huge cash infusion from Hillary Clinton's bagman Terry McAuliffe.

    Digging...
    Digging...
    Digging!

I'm fine with them investigating whatever seems to be awry. I just don't believe there is or was rampant partisanship going on in the FBI, nor do I think McCabe was hyper partisan, and made decisions based on who was donating to his wife's campaign. The vast majority of law enforcement tend to be "law and order" sorts that are more drawn to Republican politics, or what Republican politics used to be, yet maintained non-partisans when doing their job. Politics and law really don't need to mix. We need the legal system to work without partisan politics slanting it one way or the other. When investigations are started, it needs to be for legal reasons, not political ones.

If The President was asserting privilege, we could understand the FBI/DOJ failure to obey requests from Congressional Oversight, however this is NOT the case:

White House Rejects Reports That Trump Backs DOJ Obstruction Of House Intel Subpoena
White House and congressional officials told The Federalist that the White House does not support DOJ obstruction of a congressional subpoena related to the 2016 Russia investigations.

The White House does not support ongoing Department of Justice (DOJ) efforts to obstruct a congressional inquiry into the agency’s activities before and after the 2016 election, multiple White House and congressional officials told The Federalist. The independent accounts of these officials contradict news reports last week that the White House and DOJ were aligned against Congress in the matter.

Following the issuance of a subpoena by the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI), the Justice Department started waging a fierce public relations war in response, with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rat-Faced Rosenstein characterizing the congressional inquiry as “extortion.” Last week, the Washington Post reported that President Donald Trump backed DOJ’s refusal to comply with a subpoena for information related to a key source involved in multiple investigations of Russian interference in the 2016 elections.
