And I am telling you Barr answered truthfully. Mueller said there was no concern with the report findings.

He answered truthfully to a question that wasn't asked... Not the point of a witness under oath... The question wasn't remotely about what Mueller said since Crist had no actual basis for Mueller (or anybody) saying anything at that point, other than media reports..

I so glad none of you represent the legal community... or if you do, please don't advertise...

Careful.. if that's the answer you are going to go with, then I put Barr back in the lying category, because he knew on 4/9 it wasn't unnamed people with issues...

My same answer as to the other guy... keep your day job...

You guys slay me.... Trump voters through and through...

He had no idea who was asserting claims in the article Crist was referencing. But his assumption was correct, because he hadn’t spoken to Mueller in regards to how they were upset with how the media was mischaracterizing the conclusions

It was not a lie he had not spoken with those unnamed members of Mueller's team so not knowing who they were it exactly what they said he face a truthful answer which has been confirmed. They were concerned about media coverge and wanted more information released immediately. Barr told Mueller he would not piecemeal it out. Now youvhave the whole report.

    Give it up it's over.

They can’t. They must come up with a new false narrative every time they get shut down. They are running scared because the truth is coming out

Simply put, Crist statement was about there being rumors some on Muellers team were concerned the report did not reflect an accurate depiction of the investigation findings. That did not happen. There was concern that his summary of conclusions didn’t provide enough political fuel for the biased media and democrats. He was not asked that question.

You are beyond lost, my friend..... I suggest you start over with a simpler topic..

Do you want me to find the part of the testimony on Wednesday where Barr said he and Mueller talked over Mueller's letter on the phone?

Heard that, where mueller said the letter Barr wrote was accurate. Very damaging to the leftist false narrative that Barr’s letter was a lie

No find the testimony where he said he talked to the unnamed sources in the article Christen was citing.

Then cite the part where he said "his understanding" was they wanted more released. And of course he released the entire report so it is a moot Pontiac.

Ohh... damn, I thought you had figured it out, but you swerved again...

Crist's question (not statement) was if Barr was aware of any reason/source (reference) of the "rumors" (media reports) about the Special Counsel's issues... and he was.

Or are you attempting to deny Barr hadn't read Mueller's letter of 3/27 by 4/9?

    Crist's question:

Reports have emerged recently, general, that members of the Special Counsel’s team are frustrated at some level with the limited information included in your March 24th letter, that it does not adequately or accurately necessarily portray the report’s findings. Do you know what they’re referencing with that?

    Barr's answer:

No, I don’t. I suspect that they probably wanted more put out, but in my view, I was not interested in putting out summaries or trying to summarize,”

Barr said he talked to Mueller after receiving the letter. He asked Mueller if he felt the summary was inaccurate. Mueller said "no". This call happen before Crist asked the question. At the time of the question, Barr seemed to have felt there was no "frustration" over the accuracy portrayed in the report.

This is no more than a "Hey...look, a squirrel" moment. Grasping at straws in order to discredit anything Barr says to give the appearance that Democrats have something....anything at all....to support their witch hunt.

And he probably should have, but it was a long, run-on question, and the purpose of the question got lost in that...

It's sort of funny, now that I read this part of his response, KNOWING he's already read Mueller's letter, although Congress doesn't know about Mueller's letter at this point.

"I think, I think, I suspect that they probably wanted, you know, more put out. " --- Ughh.... I think, I think, I suspect.... probably...

He's a clever boy, I do give him credit for that.... hard to pin a man down for perjury with that answer...

I can't remotely imagine he and Donald Trump have any meaningful conversations...

And I was hoping the light would illuminate for you as well.

Crist’s remarks: “Reports have emerged recently, general, that members of the Special Counsel’s team are frustrated at some level with the limited information included in your March 24th letter, that it does not adequately or accurately necessarily portray the report’s findings. Do you know what they’re referencing with that?”

    Barr said: “No, I don’t.”

Crist statement ends with the word “findings” and his question follows. Barr is asked if he is aware of rumors about the Mueller team being frustrated over his report not accurately or adequately portraying the report findings. That would be a no.

Has Mueller issued a statement that the Barr's statements of fact are not true?
Has anyone on the Mueller team said what Barr said is a lie?
Has anyone team told any reported that in fact Trump DID collude with the Russians and DID obstruct justice and Barr is lying.
Did Barr go WAY beyond what the SC statute required in releasing the entire Keller report?

I agree Barr is cleaver, bright and smarter then the clueless dem that asked him that question.

Glad you finally came around to actually reading or listening to the exchange and realize how foolish and desperate your party leadership looks now for claiming he lied

And I say his question is asking Barr if he knows anything about what the reports are referencing, which he does, because the reports are clearly based on the Mueller letter. That should be a yes, not an "I don't know". Failure to refer to the Mueller letter at that point is obfuscation, if not perjury, but that's a question for another day.

So we disagree about the question, which means it's a bad question, which means Barr gets a pass on "I don't know".

But seriously, are you saying "I don't know" is a valid answer even if he understood the question as you worded it in bold?? Of course he is aware of the rumors, because he knew they were MORE than rumors, it was a fact that Mueller had sent him a letter mentioning issues.

If you guys are going to die on the hill of highlighting 'accurately' out, feel free. Remember that Crist also says ' or adequately', and I think Mueller's letter makes it clear he didn't consider the Barr Summary adequate

Sheesh already... Do you really want to go back to Bill Clinton's definition of "IS" is?

As long as he eventually admits he misunderstood the question as a whole, I'm fine with that... I've said most of this thread that Barr didn't lie, but he also didn't come close to telling "the whole truth" as he swore to that day... I guess leaving out pertinent information in your answer is considered OK to wingers these days.

Wait how do you from he was very cleaver to misunderstanding? He understood and answered the question asked correctly. If the idiotic dem was trying to ask something else, that’s on him.

    We'll continue to disagree..

"I don't know" is a lie to the question that was asked.
"I don't know" is a misleading answer to the question as you claim he understood it...

One way is probably a crime, the other is simple misdirection.... I know which way I'd go on that...

How is it a lie or misleading? How is he suppose to know what unnamed people in a news article have issues with his characterization of the conclusions? The only person he spoke to is mueller who had no issue with the accuracy of his letter

He didn't. You are just incapable of understanding the question and the answer. Bill Barr answered it perfectly.

I don’t really know anything about Bill Barr. I don’t recall anything from his previous tenure I just know what I have seen since he went through his last confirmation. My guess is the following.

He doesn’t like politics interfering with justice. He is very smart and well equipped to defend his legal decisions. He understands right from wrong.

I suspect he is concerned about the current evidence of an apparent coup against President Trump. Like him or not, he is President. These efforts lead by government officials to impede Trumps’s ability to perform his duties based on a fabricated lie, a lie that has resulted in the harm to many innocent people, is serious business. Something he realizes he needs to find out how it happened and why. Everything the democrats don’t want to happen.
