Your proposal effectively repeals the Second Amendment.

I know you say that you mean it to be compatible with the Second Amendment, but it is not. You are proposing to let any state violate the Second Amendment whenever they want to do so.

    So, no. Hard pass.

That is incorrect. The Second Amendment is the paramount priority.

Where has the Bill of Rights ever been amended?

Such restrictions pass muster with Strict Scrutiny.

The gun rights side is pure and noble. All we do is protect our freedom.

It is entirely outrageous if there is no justification for that restriction.

    Self defense and target shooting.

We are not serfs and you are not our lord.

You don't have any say over what guns we use, and we will use whatever gun we choose to use.

All guns can be used for mass slaughter.

Common sense is code for gun laws that do nothing to save lives and only violate people's civil liberties for no reason.

    How's that working out?

I sure am not. You are 2nd Amendment free to carry on, and kids will continue to be slaughtered.

Me....nah, I'd rather not, and I'd be the 1st to boot the 2nd.

We are in violent agreement, Sir!
