Prominent "conservative", opinion leaders including Rush Limbaugh, and Hannity, denounced Chauvin as a murderer early on.
Of course, they may not represent "Republicans". Many Republicans do tend to reflexively support the police.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki called the police shooting of 16-year-old Ma'Khia Bryant in Columbus "tragic."

Bryant was shot and killed Tuesday after officers responded to the 3100 block of Legion Lane on the report of a disturbance.

The shooting happened shortly before former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin was found guilty in the death of George Floyd.

During a press breifing Wednesday, Psaki said President Joe Biden had been breifed on the shooting as well.

“She was a child. We’re thinking of her friends and family and the communities that are hurting and grieving her loss,” Pskai said.

Pskai said the White House’s focus is “to address systemic racism and implicit bias head on”

Fair enough, but y'know it wouldn't hurt either side to take a deep breath and wait to see a few more details before they start preying on people's emotions.

 

There is absolutely no comparison between the Chauvin killing of Floyd and this shooting, Floyd had a choice and he chose to kill, this cop had absolutely no choice, if he had waited the woman dressed in pink would have been stabbed. This cop deserves a medal for his quick reaction and good aim, it's a miracle he did not shoot the woman in pink

WHAT??? They should be giving the officer a MEDAL and commendation for his quick and decisive actions in saving the life of the person under attack.

 

I actually heard a NAACP civil rights attorney making the argument that this is normal behavior for black kids and white police officers should not interfere. The insanity.

 

Even with the body cam video there are people out there saying the cop murdered the girl with the knife. How anyone can watch that video and make that conclusion is just proof that people will believe what they're brainwashed to believe.

Now imagine what would have occurred if the video didn't exist. More than likely many of the witnesses would have said the girl was just standing there minding her own business when the cop simply executed her for no reason. Democrats, celebs and the usual suspects would have burned down everything in sight after looting them. No one would believe the cops, at least no one on the left would believe the cops and they wouldn't want to.

 

I have an idea. Let defund the police and turn in our guns.
