Subjects can't be arsed with spelling, unless they are told otherwise.

It is a quality product because we are a quality people.
Not one who talks of Global Trade, then turns away.

Technically the net outcome from our arms deals is negative (except for the few profiteers who benefit at our expense)

I'm starting to wonder if it's tongue and cheek for AE Vs. BE with Zed and Zee?
I don't think citizen is a z for s word when talking versions of English and one being more correct in England or not..
And I think @Baff knows that and, is just doing it for a laugh? IDK.

Regarding arms deals, you have to factor in two aspects. First, much of the dosh isn't actually really paid (its all guaranteed by the govt). Second, crowding out effects are actually immense. We take our diddy population of scientists and engineers and we ask them to find 'spin in' military use from civilian technologies. Their contribution to civilian technological progress is lost

    I hear you, @Reiver
I can only hope in my heart of hearts as a British Citizen, that the cost to me is low, and think it's a credit to what that passport stands for, giving it to OAPs for free. - So I'm with you in hoping this does lower costs and benefits Britain for me and others who still have to pay for their passport.
But how else can we pay for the important things?
Now we have an unexpected windfall?
We have to do arms deals, to protect kids in Qatar from being blown up at night to pay for the NHS that helps kids and people of all ages every night.

Now, as good as that is, arms deals pays for that.

We don't have a windfall. We currently have the elite deciding how to further benefit at our expense. You'd need Corbyn elected for that debate!

    You support Corbyn.
I don't know if he won't do any arms deals.
    Do you?

I know he was anti nukes though.

Two aspects. Overall we are talking about additional cost. Second, when we do refer to savings, its not savings to benefit Joe Pleb. It is savings to benefit Johnny Elite.

    She's a remainer.
    She protects EU socialism.

She wants to be a part of it.
She wants to make a deal to be part of it.
The country said leave and she won't.

She won't until a replacement deal is made. Then we can "leave". Once a worse deal has been agreed first.
And then she will crow herself at us. Tell us how smart she is to have defied us all.
Only one way this can end.
    War.

She's ****ing useless. A traitor and a muppet.
    Lol. Worst PM since Cameron,

Elimination of the arms trade will benefit the British economy. It is a drain on the economy and only encourages corruption and influence costs.

    Additional cost of what, inflation?
    Additional cost? of what?
The cost of Corporation Tax with a Tax Haven coming to get big business and jobs in?
The cost of Income Tax when people still have jobs thanks to big business employing British?
Or the loss of what, your chance to have Westminster take control because that's all you know is
    TAX TAX TAX.

    What?
There'd still be jobs in Global Britain, AND... It'll be a good place to grow where we may outsource to the rest of the world.

Citizen is US spelling . Citisen is UK.

They use a lot of Zed's, or Zee's as they call them.

    Realise/realize. Colonise/colonize. etc.

Competition will boost it right up again, don't you worry about that.
    Government need only regulate.
And right now, we've got huge customs union attached to us and it's not going anywhere anytime soon, Belfast will still be Northern Irish and the EU will always be the EU.
So it's up to UK and EU to see what the UK can do for the things, because we want the business.
It's business that improves lives, it's governments who regulate business so business doesn't destroy lives.
