George Floyd injested alot of drugs and chose to not sit peacefully in the police car. Had George Floyd not been stupid he would still be alive today.

Derrick Chauvin had no intentions of killing George. He just wanted the guy to settle down and stop acting stupid.

He was trained to kneel on the neck per the handbook. Facts matter.

 

As for the video I agree the cops were in the wrong. I actually saw that video before. Those cops should be punished.

 

The training did not include keeping the knee on the neck for two minutes after the person was dead.

The handbook did not teach them to keep kneeling after the person had stopped breathing. Had he removed his knee about 2.5 minutes sooner he would not be in jail.

 

This is not you in your private home. What lethal threat did she pose to whom? There were officers on both sides of the door. And are we now going to say that anytime protestors enter the capital the capital police can open fire on them?

 

There were more than 400 arrests. Name one person charged with treason that day at the Capitol.

Thread win. As we can see in this thread, Babbitt isn't the only one who self-radicalized. Actually, the radicalization is catalyzed by the RW media feeding constant lies. It is sad that people throw away their lives over this, or even get themselves killed. There was a good story on CNN the other day about 7 case studies of people taking part in the 1/6 riot, and their path that led them there. It doesn't paint a good picture.

That is a good question. But once he had him face down with his knee on him he clearly was not a threat. And once he stopped breathing he really was not a threat.

The actual training is what helped to convict him. They are not trained to keep kneeling until the person is dead.
