Seems to me the leftist identitarians are pushing even Bill Maher right. Or so it seems. He's not really. He's the same as he ever was. A liberal. On the left side of the political spectrum. He doesn't even like "the right". But even he sees how far left people in the US have become. How insane their policies are.

This seems part of an old cycle, of the left pushing their moderates out until that left that does the pushing becomes moderate in comparison to to the new leftists who push even further left. Some of the people left beached like Maher will have to settle for being a discontented liberal. They are never going right or relook at their previous positions. Meanwhile the left continues to go leftward.
I can agree with that aside from Jon Stewart. The other Daily Show hosts do come across to me as what you say, but Jon is genuine.
