That's not what they said. They said that as of now, it's no longer a global emergency because the pandemic has winded down. It was responsible for the prior excess deaths during the pandemic.

The only thing I questioned was your interpretation of the news. Whether you believe them or not, this is in no way a revision of their prior positions. It's a recognition that things have changed. Covid variants are less lethal now, and people have more immunity.

Those who got covid and got over it are the ones who have the best immunity. Anyone who took that pseudoscience junk is far worse off. What jab number are you up to?

I had one booster, and I got the Pfizer vaccine before it was available to the general public. I don't see a need to get more at this time. I have never had covid that I know of. It is safer to acquire immunity from the vaccine than the actual disease, but both ultimately help with lowering the likelihood and severity of subsequent infection. So do you believe in most conspiracy theories, or is it mostly related to covid, or technology related things? Like are you a birther? Did you think we faked the moon landing? Was 911 an inside job? lol.

We've all discussed covid au nauseum, and it's something I can feel confident on because I understand the science. But when it comes to things I have little knowledge on, I do tend to trust the experts, and that's what rational people do. People who are into conspiracies though, that's a different category. I am not sure I will ever know enough about psychiatry/psychology to really understand them.

EXPERTS!?! Are they people like Bill Gates and Fauci, Fauci who got grilled numerous times by Congress, these kinds of experts?
So if science is a peer-reviewed and debated part of academia, why were all those who questioned the official narratives silenced, discredited and had their reputations and careers destroyed because they spoke up about the bullshit?

Why exactly do you think this announcement means that COVID wasn't responsible for any illness or deaths? It is just an acknowledgement that the rate of infection is reducing (on a global measure), which should mean the rate of illness and death will also reduce (though naturally with some lead time).
