Some Democrats need to come to the realization that there is not a Republican presidential candidate that they won’t vilify. The reason they take this position is because they won’t discuss the issues of the day and provide their solutions.

The trouble is all of their solutions involve bigger government, more spending, more debt, higher taxes and more programs to control the behavior of other human beings. In other words, the far left Democrat solutions are nothing but an extension of the problems.

 

Fortunately I can't see Ronda's particular brand of fascism resonating with independants.

You should do your own homework rather than rely on left wing rags like Huffpo. For example, those memes of yours? Was introduced by ONE politician who had no support for it. It was not only shot down legislatively, but was also shot down by DeSantis himself.

And do you mind showing me a single policy that he has ordered in a dictatorial manner? Nothing in your post has shown such.

You may be right about DeSantis, But who’s the most dangerous depends on one’s political views and party affiliation. I prefer to look at the chances of election in November 2024. Which today regardless of the matchup, DeSantis vs. Biden, Trump vs. Biden are even. With 17 months to go, these polls don’t mean much except show where things stand today.

If I were a democrat, knowing that Biden will be the Democratic nominee today for next year, I’d be worried about this. 55% of all Americans don’t want Biden to run again which includes 59% of independents. Question 21. This isn’t a good early sign. Again, basically tied with Trump in this category, question 22.

This latter is an important number. Remember Biden won independents in 2020 by a 54-41 margin over Trump. But a bit more independents don’t want Biden to run again than they don’t want Trump to run. Which could mean that 13-point margin shrinks to even, maybe. One never knows about these things. Had not Trump won independents in 2020 by that 13-point margin, he probably would have lost.


Most dangerous candidate? That’s for the people to decide next year. All I do know is we’re going to have an election if what we see today holds steady is an election where most Americans don’t want neither major party’s candidates to become the next president. Interesting that this will be the second time in 8 years where most Americans really thought both major party’s candidates sucked. 2016 and probably 2024.

 

Those opposed to DeSantis' are drinking the liberal media cool aid. They are also sipping the cool aid of the racist NAACP and the militant queer community. Such cool aid drinkers need to study up on DeSantis' policies he has put in place for the great state of Florida. He is one popular governor!!! Make a great president!!! Genuine leadership responds to the collective's chosen objective, but his job is to pick the path and get them there. He is a navigator, and such a person can't allow every loud noise to cause him to take a different path. I sometimes think of the situation where Apple's board got upset with Steve Jobs creativity and independence, so they fired him. After they had lost that and tried to run it by committee, the company started downhill- and was soon in trouble. They eventually realized they had screwed themselves by dumping Jobs, and got him back. Leaders lead. Followers follow.

It's like the old "Wagon Train" tv series. The followers have picked a destination- the wagon master picks the route. If he starts responding to those who say- let's go that way, it looks easy....
He's not a competent leader, and neither are his followers.

Hire a good man. If he doesn't get the job done, fire him. But stay out of the way and let him do the job he was hired to do- and don't try to micro-manage his every move.
