Nobel Committee Asks Obama “Nicely” To Return Peace Prize

Thorbjorn Jagland, chairman of the Nobel Peace Prize Committee, said today that President Obama “really ought to consider” returning his Nobel Peace Prize Medal immediately, including the “really nice” case it came in.

Jagland, flanked by the other four members of the Committee, said they’d never before asked for the return of a Peace Prize, “even from a damnable war-criminal like Kissinger,” but that the 10% drawdown in US troops in Afghanistan the President announced last week capped a period of “non-Peace-Prize-winner-type behavior” in 2011. “Guantanamo’s still open. There's bombing Libya. There's blowing bin Laden away rather than putting him on trial. Now a few US troops go home, but the US will be occupying Afghanistan until 2014 and beyond. Don’t even get me started on Yemen!”

The Committee awarded Obama the coveted prize in 2009 after he made a series of speeches in the first months of his presidency, which convinced the Peace Prize Committee that he was: “creating a new climate of...multilateral diplomacy...an emphasis on the role of the United Nations...of dialogue and negotiations as instruments for resolving international conflicts...and a vision of world free of nuclear arms.”

“Boy oh boy!” added Jagland. “Did we regret that press release!”

Well... I'll be (*)(*)(*)(*)ed. I'm taking bets if Obama will do the right thing, and return the prize he never earned. And there's this other lingering question - if Nobel prize committee no longer likes Obama, does anyone else in the world still does like this incompetent Agitator-in-Chief?

The failure was nominated while only in office for 2 weeks. He did NOTHING worthy or "peaceful" in that short period. Yet they gave THE AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PRESIDENT A MEDAL... FOR NOTHING.

He may as well keep it. Even if they really did feel that way they were the ones who messed up and gave him an award for doing nothing.

According to statute 10 of the Nobel Foundation: “No appeals may be made against the decision of a prize-awarding body with regard to the award of a prize.”

So, I do not think they can actually pry the prize out of Obama's greedy hands. Still, a little excitement never hurt anyone

So to get back to the issue, speaking of being pwned, how do you like the fact that a drive to revoke Obama's unearned Nobel prize is underway?

 

Seriously, what were they thinking giving the NPP to a man who used the Chicago media to open up the sealed divorce records of TWO political election opponents to eventually get into the US Senate.

He had a history of voting present in the Illinois state senate on sensitive issues. He had zero executive experience. We have very little papers written by him to review. He's vaulted to the top of the Democrat party by being very progressive, being willing to use dirty political tactics via David Axelrod and the ever complicit Chicago Tribune (see above), and tapping into the white guilt and a lust for a black leader of the Left.

Joe Biden summed up the excitement and leg tingle of finally finding a black male that was "articulate, and bright, and clean, and nice-looking".

Obama appeared to be the "Magic Nergo" that would cleanse them of their pent up white guilt and desire for a god-like wise black man leader ala Morgan Freeman as God in Bruce Almighty .

Obama, the man, was remarkably unaccomplished. But, through dirty tricks and good teleprompter reading skills, he was able to fool whites from Chicago to Oslo. His being awarded the NPP simply for being elected and having a brown skin is a perfect example of the irrational, emotional euphoria that the prospect of releasing white guilt can cause in the pleasure centers of the progressive mind.

Conservatives and libertarians vastly underestimate the amount of self-hatred that the Left has for the West. They REALLY hate us unrepentant Westerners who do not share in their righteous self-loathing. This self-hatred is extremely dangerous to the West in the long run. Decades of progressive policies are now showing their cumulative effects. The gov'ts of the West have been driven into insolvency by the Left's welfare state. The social order of her cities is breaking down under waves of immigration designed to force multiculturalism on to the native populations. And, the progressive inability to look Islam in the eye as a hostile policital system wil only lead to more soldiers being hacked to death in the major cities of the West.

He claimed he would close Gitmo, follow the Geneva Convention accords, all of them, abide by the constitution, strike down the military commissions act, end the fighting overseas, respect human rights and dignity, bring those caught for torture to justice, etc. etc. etc.

So yes, Obama DID indeed promise to live up to the ideals the award stood for.

The committee was just stupid in giving people credit for empty promises and insincere rhetoric, instead of actual actions.
