Before slavery was abolished its greatest supporters were the lower class whites. This was because it gave these dregs of white society someone even they could look down on. So it remains today. The white race's biggest losers are generally its most bigoted as well.

The race of various people from ancient Egypt will be debated forever. It doesn't surprise me at all that today's Egyptians don't match the DNA of King Tut. People migrate and I wouldn't expect the population to have remained static since antiquity. There is contradictory research. I remember a reconstruction of King Tut in which he looked like Montel Williams. These people were probably mixed, IMO, with some of the pharaoh's having more black ancestry and others having more white ancestry. It doesn't affect anyone's ability to achieve today.

 

I've spend more than a little time in Zim and can tell you that Great Zimbabwe is not all that great. And your degree in Egyptology, Archeology or Cell Biology/DNA science is from where?
