NY Times blasted for defending 'pornography literacy' for first graders: 'These people are sick'

Concerned parents and media critics swatted the New York Times on Thursday after the newspaper heralded Justine Ang Fonte, a New York teacher who recently became infamous for her sexual education curriculum for children and young adults, as a "sex-positive educator," and called her lessons "pornography literacy."

For seven years, Fonte was the director of health and wellness at the Dalton School on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. In May, she was invited to teach two Zoom lessons on "pornography literacy and consent" to juniors and seniors at the Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School on the Upper West Side. Those lessons reportedly included some "masturbation" images, outraging parents and eventually leading to her resignation.

But the Times had a different viewpoint on the controversy and appeared to provide Fonte some backup.

This Fox News expose of the New York Times is important. It’s terrible that the New York Times is defending such graphic pornography being taught to young students in some of our schools. It’s not acceptable to expose kids to this stuff.

 

It’s not just the NYTimes that is advocating for kinky things to be taught to our children in our schools. The Washington Post does as well. They are trying to destroy our kids with porno sex Ed, CRT, and the 1619 project.

 

And next the slow but sly push to lower the age of "consent", likely under the all purpose guise of "rights".....

As a member of the community, it's absolutely abhorrent that other gay folks think that it must "educate" children in this way. Coming to grips with being different is actually hard. Making everyone aware of why, to me, is actually much more likely to cause the bullying these folks think this avoids. I can't express sufficiently enough just how disappointed in this splinter advocacy group of the community that has emerged.

 

Ech. There are, unfortunately, kids that watch porn, and they would probably benefit from pornography literacy education. But pornography literacy education is likely to have a negative impact on kids who don't watch porn, causing them to start watching porn.

But first graders dont need any form of sex ed. Thats Fing ridiculous.

That’s funny because they’ve already started. We’re not supposed to call them pedophiles anymore, the left wants us to refer to them as “minor-attracted persons”.

They’re doing the EXACT same thing they did with homosexuality. Argue it’s a psychological disorder first and that it should be decriminalized because “they can’t help themselves” and “they’re born this way”. Then once they succeed from getting it decriminalized they will push for it to be removed as a disorder and labeled a sexual orientation.

 

Notice you have not responded to several challenges to your claim, drive by denial that can't be defended.

 

Do you have any examples of this because y'all have been saying this since the first state legalized same sex marriage.

Most of the legislative events that seek to disallow (or strike from current law) instances of underage issues are fought against by Republican men…

 

The difference of course being that there is no victim in consensual same sex relationships while a lifelong victim is created with pedophilia.
