    Actually thats no true. What the protestors, and the Trump admin tried to do with their own "electors" was totally legal. Many states have laws that determine how they appoint electors, but most of them do not require them to follow the popular vote. Many states actually have "slates of electors" and they can have 3-4 slates and each of those slates have designated outcomes as to whom they will vote for, BUT, they can send whatever slate they want no matter what the popular vote in that state is.

    Now as far as the certification goes, thats exactly what they were trying to get Pence to do which was to only certify the election AFTER they had pushed thru the false electors that they pushed the states to send. When they were talking about the "fake electors" that was a very real, very legal way to steal the election.

    I define them as anyone climbing walls, vandalizing, charging at police. The others that did not contribute anything other than a voice or a sign I’m okay with. Their purpose was to express their beliefs that the election was fraudulent

    From what I've read, the feds haven't charged anyone who didn't enter the building or attack police.
