This speculation has existed for quite some time. Obama's Christianity is clearly a religion of convenience, like a Liberian tanker.

Has he done much of anything to thwart islamic terrorism? He can't even speak its name.

 

We won't know until years after his Presidency ends... maybe not even then. We do know that he is ambivalent to the idea that Western, predominantly Christian culture is superior to Islamic culture, which isn't surprising, considering most if not all progressives believe in relativism and multiculturalism. We also know that he has a great admiration of the Islamic religion and its culture, and was, at one point, a Muslim himself.

He's certainly not a Christian. His two decades in a black liberation theology church reflects his radical belief system, not a genuine religious belief. He cares more about social justice and progressive ideals than the teachings of a Jewish carpenter from thousands of years ago.

Obama is the closest thing to a Manchurian candidate that we've ever had. His true identity and motivations have been hidden for a long time, and an enormous amount of energy and time has gone into maintaining that secrecy. The good news is that he is a very arrogant person and will likely brag at some point about how he was able to deceive the American people. Hopefully the whole world can know the official story on this guy, eventually.

 

To me this is extremely alarming. One of the posters commenting in the link makes a great observation. He states Obama is using his right hand giving the sign but he is left handed. In Islam the left hand is considered unclean.

 

Do point. 0bama would never raise his left hand for any reason in the presence of these Africans.

If you go all the way back to the early languages the word sinister meant "left handed". If you look you can see some sinister traits in "o"'s actions.. I wonder if he is working with his right hand for his transition to islam after he is out of office?? He does seem to use his right hand when making one of his fool points that he really wants us to swallow.

 

Seriously? Somebody sure has a lot of time on their hands and a very vivid imagination. now if only they had some brains.

Making this an actual thread that someone actually takes seriously disturbs me more than the picture itself.

 

Ok, but is there merit to the allegation? Has any other explanation for the gesture been offered?

Makes you wonder, doesn't it? I mean, I don't know the Muslim hand signals, but it's fairly obvious he has an aversion to mouthing "Muslim terrorists" or "Islamic extremist", even when he's discussing their actions. That's strange. Doesn't instill much confidence in his ability to wage a successful war against them either, does it?

Let's put this into practical perspective. Obama is a red-blooded Christian American, who grew up in Hawaii and then to a couple of premier colleges, and then became a Chicago lawyer/professor, then a boss politician. We all know he's hip. So there's that, too. For what reason would a Hawaiian hipster pothead who made his bones on the south side of Chicago, who also sports ivy league swag, raise his index finger? Is he saying, "We're number one!"

 

I think they're all Muslims.....

Your image can be easily explained. The Obama image can be easily explained, too. I'm curious why he did it. That doesn't mean I'm suspicious of why he did it.

I didn't mention gang signs. To most of us, that gesture means number one. Is he saying he's number one; they're number one; we're number one; or Allah is the only one true god?
I don't have any idea, but I'm anxious to hear how the administration explains it, if they ever do. The questioner doesn't have to frame it with an allegation of being a closet Muslim. She can simply as why he raised his finger. That wouldn't be uncommon nor unusual. Every word and gesture the president makes is carefully documented and scrutinized. More than anyone else on the planet. This was an important meeting. What was he doing?
