Yes. Your Youtube video is undoubtedly edited. Nothing wrong with that. Just pointing out the fact that, unless the Obama basketball game was about 45 seconds long, it was edited to reflect only Obama's successes.

Because its a vague and pointless subject for a start, there has little evidence offered as to overinflation either of his skills or the praise of said skills by the media.

Moreover its such small potatoes, that it says more about you guys than it does about Obama.

lol seriously? not everyone is ALWAYS competitive when simply goofing off and shooting some hoops. once again, i played 3 sports all year around from the time i was 6 until 18 years old and basketball was one of them. from 6th grade all the way through highschool i was a lock from the free throw line, once making 31 free throws in a row spanning about 7 games in my freshman year. My perimeter shooting was pretty good as well. and yeah, sometimes when i was bored i would just goof off and shoot a ball and didnt care if i made it or not because it wasnt at all serious.

not everyone goes 100% all the time, especially in a simple shootout with little kids all shooting at the bucket at the same damned time. its just supposed to be fun, nobody was trying to out do each other.

ok and? so what if he just had a bad day? once again bad days happen to even the best of their respective sports. you think MJ,Lebron, Kobe,Shaq,Magic and Bird never had a bad day? please.

Yah. Maybe they shouldn't of downed him for his faulty shots at the court. It would of been much better if they bashed him for putting the kids in the hoop when they decided to shut down the tours to the WH. It looks like he lost his balls when he closed the doors to the people to tour the WH which belongs to the people. Hes really * * * backwards now days.

Even Shaquille O'Neal, an infamously horrible free throw shooter, never shot anywhere near 9% (he was a life time 52% shooter).
If you ever saw Obama, rocking his mom jeans, and throwing out a first pitch at a White Sox game, throwing like his mom, you know he isn't exactly the world's greatest athlete.
I'm not convinced Obama can do better a whole lot better than 9%...at least I've seen no evidence of it.
But that's another matter. The fawning press and their myth making is the issue.

Given a perfect release point the difference between a made and missed shot is less than .5 ft lbs at release.

And yet, even the worse free throw shooters in history (Daryl Dawkins, Chris Dudley, Ben Wallace, etc.) can do better than 9%, which is what the prez shot on his home basketball court.

What I have "whined" about is the way the kiss-ass media has built this mythology around the president (brilliant scholar, enlightened spiritual leader, heir to Lincoln, etc) which is all bull (*)(*)(*)(*)e
and this latest gaffe on the basketball court shows the gulf between reality and the media created myth in simple graphic terms.
