WHAT?? Since when is sterilization indicated for diabetes or that pregnancy poses any serious risk?

 

It's not indicated every time - it would depend on how well controlled the diabetes is or any complications are already present.

I know pro-lifers contend that a fetus is entirely separate from the mother but the fact remains that pregnancy causes severe strain on a woman's body - her heart, kidneys, blood pressure and so forth - and women who already have medical conditions may or may not be able to tolerate the added strain of being pregnant.

My mother had Type II diabetes. When they discovered she had blocked arteries and uterine cancer, they couldn't operate because she already had severe complications from the diabetes - she lost her sight and it affected her kidneys severely. A woman who has well-controlled diabetes could probably have a baby with no lasting problems, but it certainly makes the pregnancy more complicated. That's a decision once again that every woman should be entitled to decide for herself - whether she's willing to risk permanent injury or not - and whether to have a tubal ligation to prevent pregnancy if she doesn't want to risk it. It's her body after all.

And manageable, quote where a qualified medical source states sterilization is the proper course of action.

 

Women, pregnancies, and medical conditions are not "one size fits all". You demonstrate exactly why women's medical decisions should be left up to them - NOT Conservative men who "know it all" about women's bodies.

 

One white nurse I met said she joined a radical organization when she saw the doctor sterilze poor white women without their knowledg during cesarian proceedures.
I'm assuming the doctor was a registered Democart, as his particular goup is heavily Democrat.
There are people in the entire Western world who want my race reduced in number and finally blended out of existence.

I don't suppose she mentioned WHY the women were having C-section deliveries, did she? A C-section indicates some serious problem with the pregnancy and delivery that may be life-threatening to the mother and/or the baby if another pregnancy occurs.

So who is this nurse? How many times did she see "poor white women" sterilized without their knowledge? Why did those women require C-sections?
