But they run the House and if it contains a tax it MUST originate in the House. It was a bad Democrat bill to begin with what are they going to do now?
Not necessarily. 2018 was a referendum on Trump and his obnoxious behavior. Not so much the ACA. As you can see, during Obama the majority of Americans were against it. But the botched attempt to repeal and replace by Trump reversed that. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/obama_and_democrats_health_care_plan-1130.html Still the ACA played little part in the 2018 election. Most votes were either cast their vote in support or opposition to Trump. 38% in opposition to him, 26% in support of him with the remaining 33% casting their vote for other reasons which healthcare as a portion. How one viewed Trump over rode most other issues.
this was already decided, so rehashing it now with new SC judges makes it a partisan decision if the vote to strike it down, they can in the conservatives individual mandate, but not kill the entire thing without taking the blame and to be honest, I thought republicans already killed the individual mandate ----- and once again, republicans were for it before they were against it http://swampland.time.com/2010/02/16/health-care-republicans-oppose-their-own-idea/ "In fact, says Len Nichols of the New America Foundation, the individual mandate was originally a Republican idea. “It was invented by Mark Pauly to give to George Bush Sr. back in the day, as a competition to the employer mandate focus of the Democrats at the time.”" Republicans also tried to push the individual mandate under Clinton...
Judge is as daffy as Roberts—it’s unconstitutional because it violates my rights as an individual and as a free man.
Right, as I said. They do not control congress. what they should do is make medicare available for all, as single payer is the proven superior system to our for profit system.
How many people are currently on Medicare and when is it projected to be insolvent? A federal judge in Texas has ruled Obamacare's individual mandate unconstitutional — the rest of the law, he says, is inseverable and thus invalid.
Until your ass gets sick and run up a **** load of doctors bills and the public has to foot the bill for it.

The LA Times in June if this year reported a story based on the annual report by the Govt that projects it will be by 2026 if nothing is done. The Dems refuse to do anything and claim the GOP wants to kill grandma when they talk about reform. It’s tragic
I don't usually do this, but please let me include a portion of a post I wrote in a different thread which was started before this decision was issued: "Now, of course, this lower court decision will be appealed to the Supreme Court, where, as before, Supreme Court Chief Justice, John Roberts remains in power. He was the same "Justice" that unconstitutionally morphed the law which Obama and the Democrats produced as a "mandate" into a "tax" -- so that it could be considered to be 'constitutional'... 'kinda-sorta'.... So, what will John Roberts do this time? Even with Obama-era stooge "Justices" Sotomayor and Kagan behind him, along with big liberals, Ruthie Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer, Roberts may have a more difficult time cramming this 'Socialized Medicine' ploy down the nation's throat for a second time.... Republicans will still control the Senate, so the likelihood of a new package of handout welfare "subsidies" is far less likely than when Obama had an obedient Democrat-controlled Congress to give him this important component of "Socialism-lite"...." Bottom line: We who uphold the Constitution are still 'out-gunned' in the Roberts Supreme Court... so there isn't anything to rejoice about yet. We can still count on Roberts, Sotomayor, Kagan, Ginsburg, and Breyer to vote in favor of one of Liberalism's grandest 'wet-dreams' -- Socialized Medicine! Even with Gorsuch and Kavanaugh, we who detest Socialism will still come up one vote short!
Who claimed they should, I asked when Pres. Trump was going to rollout that inexpensive and great healthcare he promised the American people. They shouldn't, why isn't Republicans talking about it if that is the case. All we keep hearing about is a bullshit wall.
Democrats run one house of congress and that's where they will have to initiate any new healthcare law if Supremes uphold this Texas judge ruling.
