I was waiting for you to come back with that, it never fails. Some of these people were stirred up right from the start,,his father,,Kenya,,his Grandmothers remark. How many Granny's mention their son was born in Kenya? Now you may say,,,
FLOUNDER SHE NEVER SAID THAT!!! Well, some feel she did, so the entire thing started,,and because it was ignored so long it grew.
I admit some of these people are no doubt racist, and that dont help....but that's life I guess. However I suspect most are not racist,,,too many people. When you have a problem like this, ignoring it can be the worst thing,,it festers. I believe if the name calling did not exist it may have died out on it's own, but people got angry.
Common sense usually leaves the room when name calling and anger steps in........

 

I agree, ignoring it can cause doubt. Be Obama did NOT ignore it. He released his BC........................twice. Problem solved, right? The birthers got what they wanted, right?

If your answer to those questions are No, they did NOT get what they wanted, then perhaps you should ask them why that is not enough when no other POTUS has ever had to before him?

However, for the rest of the world, the author of the brochure said she simply made a mistake, and the world went on about its business.

Considering it was a rather minor brochure in 1991, and there were articles in about 6 national newspapers and magazines in 1990 all mentioning that Obama was born in Hawaii.....who knows if anyone even paid attention to it.

After all- this was so obscure that Birthers took over 4 years to even notice it.

Mitt Romney released his birth certificate- which is pretty much the same as Obama 2008 birth certificate- and nobody whines "it is not a real birth certificate"- Romney could have produced a BC written in crayon and Birthers would have accepted his BC.

One of you people thinking this is significant, OP perhaps, explain to me exactly what is the advantage of having a particular states prefix on your SSN? In other words, why in the hell would anyone conspire to such a thing?

The fact that its "wrong" proves beyond a doubt there's no conspiracy, in fact, because any conspiracy good enough to create a fake SSN for a Presidential candidate would be smart enough to make sure the number made sense.

SSNs denote what state the number was issued and the “042″ number is a Connecticut number. Ohio private investigator Susan Daniels brings up a question Obama should answer. No, Obama has no obligation to address every whackjob claim and theory by his opponents. Susan Daniels has been flogging this for 2 or 3 years now, and it has already been rejected at least once (in Georgia) by a judge who didn't find her 'evidence' ....evidence.

This question of his Connecticut SS# came to light a long time ago and Obama just ignored it.... if it had been any other American citizen w/a questionable SS#, they would not have been allowed to ignore it........

If a person had not done anything wrong, they would be willing to explain the situation b/c they're innocent of any wrongdoing .....

The guilty will ignore it, hide, hope the matter will fade away and leave them alone....

An example of that was when Trump claimed that Obama had no birth certificate- the opportunity to make Trump look like a complete buffoon was the motivation for Obama to request a certified photo copy of his original birth certificate and show it to voters.
