Of Course Benghazi Isn't Going Away for a While...

While LibDems want this to just "go away", it is obvious that Obama, through Rice, lied his ass off to the American Public. Anyone remember a whole week of newsclips about "The Video".
Here is what they wanted me to believe:

Hassan was sitting in his living room. He saw a video and got mad. So he drove down to the local "RPGs-R-Us" and bought one. So did a bunch of his friends. At exactly the same time, hundreds of men saw the same video and decided on the same action, against the same target. Then, knowing exactly where the American consulate was located and how to penetrate its defenses, they blasted it. Riiiight.


The concept that anyone with military or intelligence experience would ever believe this is what happened, is ludicrous.


Here's another idea:

These attacks were planned and coordinated to happen. Unexpectedly, a video incited some people to protests. Since terrorists operate in cells, thus one doesn't know what the other has been assigned to do or when, they mistook the protests for the coordinated attacks. One of the cells attacked prematurely.
Ironically, the protests and premature attack in Libya might have saved lives because word went throughout the ME and security was immediately tightened everywhere else.

So then an adviser tells Obama "We turned down requests for more security in Libya."
"Oh (*)(*)(*)(*)! Are you kidding me!?!?!? NOW what are we gonna do?"
"Well maybe we can claim it was due to the movie or have Rice say that while you say nothing specific. If the public buys it, less political fallout. In the meantime, you can make vague remarks that don't commit you one way or the other."
"Don't you think it's going to be obvious to everyone this was planned?"
"We'll cross that bridge when we come to it."

"What about Rice?" Obama asks.

"We'll promise her Secretary of State for doing this for us. Of course, the GOP will shoot her down but we can still make the promise and pretend we tried our hardest but it wasn't our fault she didn't get it. Then we'll give it to Kerry or someone more feasible."
"Okay, let's give it a try."


Which scenario sounds like a more realistic scenario of Washington Politics and which sounds like an absurd piece of spin?


Do I hold Obama culpable for the deaths? No. No president overseas every consulate and embassy in the world. They have, you know, stuff to do. But he did lie his ass off about what happened.

I also believe there was probably a CIA Black Site operating in direct contradiction to what Obama promised about closing all such sites there. This one will stick around for a few more news cycles LibDems.

 

The truth will come out like it or not.

 

The American people just want the truth. The 4 dead Americans deserve justice. Our country needs closure on what we did or didn't do to protect or betray our Ambassador.

This is the new Vince Foster Conspiracy Theory. It's being kept alive as an attack meme against the Administration and particularly against Hillary Clinton. The GOP and the right wing media activists.

They will use Bengazi as a code word for the bobble heads.

This isn't registering at all outside the tiny orbit of Fox Noise, but they will keep repeating it, and manufacturing excuses to bring it up over and over again.

When Jerome Corsi publishes his "investigative" attack book about Bengazi, it will have the official right wing noise campaign stamp of approval.

 

Obama should resign because of this and Hillary's dream of being president should be over. It's the mainstream media's political organ of the Left's role to prevent this.

 

No, that's just disingenuous. We have already learned a great deal of disturbing information about the Benghazi massacre.

The State Dept's sham report has already thrown State Dept. officials under the bus to protect Obama and Hillary.

 

Face the Nation just pummeled the administration with facts on Benghazi. It was very thorough.

There was so much information there... trying to siphon it into a lucid post would take a lot of time I just cannot afford right this second.


Hicks is going to be the bane of this administrations existence. They are absolutely screwed.

What you see from liberals on this issue is a confirmation of what we have long known. There is no honor amongst them, and the pursuit of free-stuff is the true motivating factor in all things.

 

Is it any different for Neo-conservatives than for the Neo-liberals?? Seems to me that both sides are parasites at some level... the only difference is in welfare per-capita... it seems to be alot more diluted on the liberal side

This is not about neo anybody. Its about mainstream. The liberal Press has ignored a huge scandal where Americans were endangered, killed, and then we were lied to by the highest in the Land. It is both ineptitude AND a cover-up.

As for welfare, the Dems own those on it. The statistics are overwhelming, starting with their #1 voting block. Blacks, who voted 95% Obama. Blacks are 6 times more likely to be on welfare than whites. Government employees. Union workers. All dependent on the gubmit teat more than non-union, non-government folks, are also hugely Dem in voting. It is not close.

Obama is their best sugar-daddy ever. They will give him a pass on teh most criminal of actions. Just keep the free-stuff coming.

I do not recall the President ever promising to close CIA black sites.

Last week a GOP operative floated a fake story about "whistleblowers", and the wingnuts all bellowed in unison.

A bit of a shocker there, as he is from MA-8 as well, but is know to be socially Conservative. Unfortunately, he does not sit on Issa's Committee as he is on the Financial Services Committee and the Oversight and Government Reform Committee. Will be interesting to see if any Dem on Issa's committee will rise up against the other Obama lackeys.

 

Please provide proof of the "whistleblowers" being FAKE. From an ACTUAL NEWS SOURCE.

Then tell us all again how the Benghazi debacle is "the same as the Vince Foster" story...
