This is disturbing and should be investigated.

Very fishy! Ohio ABC station already has declared Obama the winner, CBS station in Arizona does too

Something very fishy is going on with the corrupt state run media. First it was a CBS station in Arizona that mysteriously posted election results declaring Barack Hussein Obama the winner. They even had the vote totals and everything. But it wasn’t limited to that one station. It seems an ABC station in Ohio did the same thing, declaring Obama and Senator Sherrod Brown the winner with mysterious vote totals. WTF is going on here? Do these media hacks have some sort of time machine they hopped in and went forward to November 6th? Or is something fishy going on?

It's not real. There's no way they can know the results so soon.

This is weird. Reminds me of the NYT last week. They fact checked the debate before the debate. So, I guess these stations are counting votes before they're cast. Which begs the question, "is there an app for that?".

    Some sort of "test" ?
I e-mailed the station asking them WTF they were doing.

They are predicting a bizarre turnout, Republican turnout according to them is 20 million less than for McCain in 2008, and there was less excitement for McCain than Romney is generating right now. The fact these are local stations is what should be raising eyebrows, local stations have never been seen as biased as their national affiliates. The numbers really didn't make any sense from the video in the OP, it says 99% of precincts reporting with only 83% of the votes accounted for. While third parties might get 6 or 7 percent, that still leaves too many votes out there...

My hope would be that they are testing their reporting system, but then they should have given a warning to the people...

Anyone who thinks the election is being called right now is too dumb for a warning to help.

Have you seen the electorate? You'd be surprised what some of them believe or not...

That is whistling in the graveyard. There is four years' worth of frustration at Obama's failure waiting to be unleashed on Nov. 6th.

This is an intern pushing the wrong button and accidentally showing the test graphic they're using to prepare for the election.

Anyone who thinks this is a) deliberate or b) nefarious is too dumb to bother with.

When I worked in newspapers, we routinely prepared dummy versions of election results in advance. That let us make sure the design would work when we actually needed it, let us test the programs that calculated results, etc.

We also would prepare two different layouts/headlines for elections. One would be "ROMNEY WINS!", while the other would be "OBAMA WINS!". That let us have the layout (complete with appropriate picture) ready to go so that we didn't have to start from scratch once the actual result was known.

Really? So the test mode on the software leans heavily towards Obama? That sounds like something we should trust...

    You are proving my point....

When testing, you need to put in some fake results. That means someone will be ahead in the fake results. Pretty much a 50/50 chance which one it will be.

Unless you know of a way to make the test results show both candidates winning.

Depending on what they're testing, they may have a version that shows Romney winning, too.

None of which changes the fact that it's effing *stupid* to be suspicious of stuff like this.

His post is an opinion, nothing more. Was there some proof there that is backed by facts? Did I miss that?

    You stop that right now!

Asking a Liberal for facts is like asking O.J. Simpson for the truth.

Your assertion that this is a "liberul" conspiracy is also just an opinion. I interned at a cable news channel in college, and yes they prepare on-air graphics beforehand and test them. This is just someone pushing the wrong button, use Occam's Razor my friend. What are trying to imply here? A local TV station is going to somehow rig the election for Obama?

There is more than one occurrence, though, both leaning the same way, what does Occam's Razor say about coincidence?

That local TV stations have chyrons to prepare for election eve? Two out of how many local stations throughout the country? Occam's Razor does not apply by definition, haha. What evidence do you have that they lean a certain way? Because Rush and Fox News tell you that every news station is a bastion of liberalism?

Oh, lighten up. Its Monday and there isn't much going on. I really don't care either way what local stations are doing, just having some fun. Tweaking liberals on Mondays is simply for entertainment purposes...

Arizonans just got our ballets in the mail last week. There is no way most filled them out, mailed them and got them counted yet. I'm mailing mine today. I guess just another trick by the media to get voters to vote Democrat. They are working overtime in this state to turn it from Red to Blue. Working real hard to also get rid of Sheriff Joe. Not going to happen.

Ah, the old "you wouldn't have written a post pointing out what an idiot I am if there wasn't some truth in what I said."

    Right. Keep telling yourself that.

Between the 9/11 truthers and the Moon landing deniers and holocaust deniers and birthers and alien invasion whacko's, the Moonies and the Krisna and the Scientologists, the neonazis and the klan and the NAACP, it's a wonder we have any sort of civilization left.

We are killing our babies while we dance with the stars.......

No wonder people believe it's a conspiracy of the Bilderberg group.
